The ultimate score in bank robbery has been put out on the streets, and every crew and gang wants a piece of it. But one elite crew has stepped up to claim this score. 12.2 million in cash inside the east corner branch of Maddison Square bank. Now the crew begins to plan their approach to taking down the bank. But while they plan a veteran cop and a seasoned organized crime squad become close on their heels tracking them down, following the trail of their past taken down scores, and the most recent one where an armored car was held up; and it's guards murdered. Can they pull off their score and get away? Or will the heat finally get to them after getting away clean for so long?

-Neal McCulley-

Releases a sigh as he takes a cigerette out of the pack and light's up. The smoke now drifts into the air between him and the rest of the crew, the architectual plans, and security system layout stretch before him on the table they sat around. "Before we move any further with this score, I want to hear it from all of you, that you think this is worth the stretch." While even he thought it was worth the stretch their recent string of armored car robberie's had gained them some heat, not to mention the latest one that had gone wrong at the end. Killing the guards was not part of the plan, but the man went for his back up piece so they had to make that decision; one lesson he'd learned the hardway was when the heat was growing on, asssume they have your phones, and your homes assume it all.

As if on cue the new's on the tv behind them began a report on their latest armored car holdup. The newscaster explaining what details the police knew, "Another armored car was held up last week. According to the police the people involved in this wave of robberies are very professional and experienced, the thieves made off with One million dollars in bara bond's; and left all three guards in the card dead. From what the police are relasing on that part of the story, it's believed that one of the guards made a reach for his weapon and was killed in the process. The polie arrival on the scene was delayed due to a purposely placed spike strip by the theives to slow them getting to the crime. The only witness to the crime described the suspects wearing similair looking jumpsuit's and ski masks. He also mentioned that they where carrying assault rifle's." The newscaster now moves on to another story, causing his attention to turn back to the rest of the crew, taking a long drag off his smoke he waits for their response to what he asked of them. Tunrs looking to his right at the youngest member of the crew, "Damnon what's your vote on this?"

... Beatrix Santiago ...

Down a darkened alleyway, the faint clanging of trash cans being knocked over echoes out to the patrol car waiting patiently. The solid black Crown Victoria, a late model left over from the Department's switch to newer, more fuel efficient cars, doesn't appear to be a cop car off the bat, the distinguishing markings decaled in silver, almost undetectable until a light shines on them. The driver's window was rolled down, just in case.

There's grunts and moans from the depths of the alley, the sound of a man hitting the cold concrete with moments of silence to follow as the din of the city masks it all. Out of the alleyway appears Beatrix, a grim frown frozen in place as she eyes the patrol car, calmly striding to the driver's seat. Her long coat flows behind her, slightly catching in the wind, revealing the pin striped pants suit beneath. Chip was patiently waiting in the passenger seat, reading over the case file they'd been assigned.

Beatrix and Chip were the best, maybe even better than that, when it came to the serial criminals who prowled New York City's underbelly, preying on the weak and foolish. However, this case had managed to stay open longer than they liked, their targets alluding them yet again the week before. However, thanks to some clever manipulation of the media, Santiago and Archiptran were far closer than any goon on the street realized. She slid into her seat, slamming the door and turning the engine over without a word to her partner. She rolled up her window and pulled away, waiting until they were two miles from the scene to begin revealing what she'd learned.

"These guys are lifers. It's all they got, all they know. Word on the street is our little rats spread the news far and wide; everyone knows about Maddison and everyone wants a piece of it. Most gangs are too chicken though, not even the Kings want to touch this," she paused a moment, easily changing lanes in the slightly heavy traffic before slowing to a stop at a red light. A sigh escapes her lips as her eyes drift over the figures of a man and woman walking, arm in arm, seemingly without a care in the world. He must be well off, she thought, noticing the glint off his Certier watch. Easily a five figure piece of jewelry, not to mention the diamond-like glint coming from the woman's necklace. But she must be his mistress, as the jewels she wore were mostly fake, save for the small ruby ring on her right hand. She snapped her attention back as Chip said something. "I think they'll bite. Captain says every one's got their weakness, like he knows these perps. I say we just rig the damn building with some C4. Easy fix."

~Damon Archaes~

"Before we move any further with this score, I want to hear it from all of you, that you think this is worth the stretch."

No matter how many times he looked over the plans, Damon couldn't shake the feeling that there was something wrong. The security system was slightly more advanced than a normal bank branch, but it wasn't anything that he wouldn't be able to take care of with a little bit of work. The vault didn't seem to be overly difficult to access, so there wasn't anything to worry about on that end. However, something just seemed...off.

"What am I thinking? We can make this work. It's probably just my imagination...," Damon thought to himself.

"Damon, what's your vote on this?" Neil asked as he turned to Damon.

"Personally, I think we should go for it. It looks like someone is challenging us....as if they are daring us to try it. We may have run into a few...complications with the last one, but this one seems like something we can pull off."

-Neal McCulley-

Takes one last drag off his smoke, as the others knod their heads in agreement to taking the bank down. "All right then here's how i think it should go down from what intel we have on the place. Damon the night before you hack in and program the security camera's and silent alarm system to turn itself off 5 minutes before we enter the bank. Four of us strong through the door, you keep an eye on the people inside to the right. I will get the manager's keys to the vault. One of us will be waitinng outside in the car waiting for the pickup; and monitoring the police band. Damon once I've opened the vault you go in put the money into the four duffel bags and we each carry one out. " Eyes look to the face of eahc of his fellow crew, "Each of us come walking out seperately, on this score we cannot make a scene if we can prevent it. But we carry heavy for this something powerful but small enough to hide under a suit jacket, Ak's and M4's are our best choices."

Takes another cigerette out and light's it up as well, "And until we have taken this score down and are gone on our seperate way's no one goes home, no one uses the phone; no talking to the wife kids nuthin. You got me? Already breaking the golden rule of our trade as it is boy's. Alright let's go to work." Stands up along with the rest of the crew as they prepare to make the arrangement's for the job.

Makes his way outside of the ocean front villa he lived in,an aged man with close cropped gray hair comes towars him. He shakes the hand of the crew's intel and money laundering contact. "Good to see Nate". Leans against the rail as Nate delivers the intel, "You guy's have popped up more on the police radar. What I can gather you've got the entire organized crime task force on your heels. You sure you still want to take down the bank with this heat on you?"

McCully looks at Nate hard and long before he anwser's, "It's worth the stretch and as long as we keep to the rules and lay low till then we should make it. Are our ways out prepared yet?" Nate released a breath before he spoke, "Yeah they're set, ID's, credit cards everything you and your guy's will need."

~~Chip~~

Chip reclined in the seat, trying to go over all the details they knew of so far. How did the armored car robberies fit in? Were they practice, just a warm up to the big job, or was there something hidden in those deliveries? There were just too many variables in play here.

He glanced over at Beatrix when she entered the car, just a quick look to make sure she was ok. Not that there was any need to worry about something like that with her, but it didn't hurt to be careful, especially with how far in to the assignment they were. One slip up and it could all slide away from them, and he refused to let that happen. It would be enough for the higher ups to put him back behind a desk for a long time.

Chip nodded as she spoke, letting it sink in, his eyes glancing among the traffic around them. He turned towards her when he heard the sigh, then followed her gaze to the couple, seeing her mind at work analyzing them. Normally they would try to compete to see which of them could guess the most about a random person or couple but she didn't speak up.

"She's pregnant but he doesn't know," he brought up, leaning his head over towards Beatrix. Her dress would be considered too large for her but the blowing wind hid that fact. The couple were arm in arm because her shoes, obviously new, didn't properly support her body in her new state and were causing her discomfort, but she couldn't bring it up.

"These guys are professional, smart. You really think they'll go for it?" Chip grinned and chuckled softly at her response. "Play defensively...we don't have to save the money, just stop them from stealing it. Hell, with that philosophy, our best course of action would be to steal the money ourselves and leave counterfeit bills for them to find." He stretched in the seat as the light turned back to green. "Sadly, I doubt the captain would approve of that plan."

Chip set the papers down and pulled out his PDA, bringing up the bank schematics again, the same ones they had been going over for what felt like months now. If the Maddison branch was going to be hit, they had to know of a weakness to its security, but where was it? Even with a full set of ID's, it wouldn't be as easy as walking in and asking for it. He was mentally kicking himself for missing it. It had to be here, somewhere.

... Beatrix Santiago ...

"You never know," Beatrix replied smoothly, taking a turn just a tad too fast as she steered back towards the department. The black Crown seemed to glide through traffic, either because of the officers inside or the skill of her driver, one could never know. "A cool twelve mil, split three ways, not a bad way to end a career."

Chip was studying the blueprints again, looking for something, anything he could find. He was good for things like that and a lot better than she would ever openly give him credit. There were certain parts of this assignment that Beatrix didn't like: the perps were too clean, the information on them too scarce, and the jobs too big. It was further unsettling that where her 'charm' failed to entice a decent response, Chip's recon also failed to unearth the critical information they needed. The black Crown slid into position in front of the station, the slight roar of the engine dying as Beatrix pulled the keys from the ignition, stepping out and slamming the door shut. Typically, Chip and Beatrix would head straight to their shared office on the second floor but the Captain was keen on them checking in as often as possible now that the armored car heists had turned deadly.

Beatrix threw the door open, the slight wind holding it open for her partner as she strode, eyes throwing daggers through the hall, causing all but the veterans to avert their eyes. Her steely gaze rested on the officer at the end of the hall, patiently waiting for the two.

"Detectives," the small greeting was the most this man ever spoke. He inspected their I.D.'s before letting them through to the impromptu Command Center for tracking down the Armored Car Bandits. The Captain, a tall, plump man with a hard jaw lined with a graying beard, small brown eyes and a crooked nose, turned his glare to the door as they strode in, leaving the team he was chewing out alone.

"You better have something," he barked, shifting his beedy gaze between his two best detectives. Beatrix kept her face carefully blank, standing with her feet shoulder width apart and hands clasped behind her back.

"The crew is made up of five or six lifers, they operate methodically and with precision, their leader is probably an ex con and the rest of the group consists of experts, professionals in their field. From what I gather, their slip up last week hasn't slowed their ambition. I think they'll try to take the stash at Maddison. They've got nothing to lose, and if they pull this off, they'll be done. This is their last call," Beatrix spoke in a cold tone, barely hinting at the slight admiration. She was used to finding out every detail from the scum she easily terrorized. The fact these guys were either so good at keeping their secrets or were more terrifying than her was impressive, though the Captain didn't share the sentiment.

"For the love of God, Chip, do you have any good news?"

~Damon Archaes~

"Give me about two days and the system will be ready," Damon replied as Neil walked away.

Damon pulled out his laptop from his bag and began to work. Due to the steady income from their "jobs", he could afford a top of the line system with a few "modifications". With just a few keystrokes, a window opened up with information streaming across the screen. Once the stream finished, one line stood out:

ANGEL.EXE....2%

"Well, while we wait, I'm going to head out for a bit. I've got some business to take care of," was all that Damon said to the others as he walked out. He had a few hours to kill before his program took effect.

-Neal McCulley-

The night dragged on as he and two other of the crew began to plot out the getawya routes they would need, the primary and the back up. An hour passed as they finallized that part of the score, now brings two folders onto the table that nate had delivered. "Nate got us the info on the cop's onto us, flips open the first file Her name is Beatrix Santiago and this man", flips open the second folder "Is her partner, from what we can see here boy's she's taken down a few crews, but we will not make any careless mistakes. Like I said earlier tonight no talkin to the wife and kids, no using phones any of it.". The final part of their meeting done the rest of the crew leave the villa, climbs into his own car; a nice sleek corvette that the recent taken down armored car had bought him.

Parks the car in a restraunt parking lot walks in and is shortly ushered to a table. Lights another cigerette as he orders his meal and begins to take up reading hte book he'd purchased a few days earlier, it would help with what was to come in the days ahead. "Police protocol's for urban incident's". As he read his mind though was focused on where exactly would he go once this score was done? He'd always wanted to go to New Zealand so that would seem the best place to hightail it to.

Another thought enter's his wandering mind, what if the whole bank score didn't go according to plan? What if the whole thing ended up turning to a big middle of the day shoot out **** up?. Silences his worries, as he reminded himself now that as long as they stuck to their rules and layed low they would get away clean. An hour and a half passes before he leaves the restraunt heading back to his villa. As he walks through the door one of the crew still remains, in one of the back rooms of the house; the sound of bullets falling onto the table and chambers of guns being opened and closed is heard. Chris was preparing their hardware needed for the score already. The light coming from the room giving away four guns lying on the table. Three M4's and one AK-47; all with exstended clips. Begins his own side work on the score, marking up the street map outlying the area outside the bank

~Damon Archaes~

After an hour taxi ride, Damon had reached a well-kept graveyard. Towards the middle of the yard sat two tombstones made out of marble. Damon walked towards the graves and kneeled on one knee.

"Seven years...I've been working on this for seven years now. It's been hard to get by, but soon, it will all be worth it. Soon, I'll have everything I need to take back everything that they stole from us...from me. I know this isn't the way you wanted me to grow up...and I know you wouldn't approve of the people that I've been associating with. However, if I don't avenge you, who will?" Damon stated to the two tombstones. He placed a rose on both tombstones and began to walk away.

"I'll visit again in about three days...," he said over his shoulder.

--One hour later...--

Damon walked back into the villa and checked the screen.

ANGEL.EXE...100%
ANALYSIS COMPLETE.
APPROXIMATE CONTROL TIME: 71 HOURS, 47 MINUTES

"Alright, I have control over the alarm systems and surveillance for the next three days. We can leave for the bank whenever you're ready." Damon stated while smiling.

Picks up the pre-paid cell phone he kept in reserve for getting in touch with the other crew members. Hours pass as they all arrive back at the villa one by one assembling around the table. "All right heres the plan and there is no changing this no nothin do you understand? Tommorow morning 12pm sharp we hit the bank. Quick in and out do you understand me? Damon tonight rig the camera's and silent alarm systems to turn themselves off 20 min before we go through the door. We go in one by one masks and guns tucked inside your suit jacket. Before we hit the guards put the masks on, Mike will cough loudly to signal this. Once we are all in, Damon you take out the first guard and cuff him, Mike you keep an eye on the rest of the people inside; Chris you get the second guard I will head for the bank manager and get his keyes." Lights a cigerette inhaling deeply before he speaks again, "Once we have the vault open, Chris will go in place the money in the four duffel bags. Each of us will carry one out exiting the bank seperately, remove your mask and tuck your weapon back within the suit coat before you leave." Looks to another smoking member of the crew sitting straight across from him at the table, "Ethan you will be in the car infront of the bank, keeping an ear open on the police band waiting on us, one by one we will all enter the car and leave. But eyes open out there cops are already onto us so i want no mistakes".

Rises up from the table, "Everyone do an equipment check, we will be carrying radio's on this score in case things go nuts which they shouldn't but be prepared. Nate's already arranged for all your way out's wherever you want to go once we pull this off". Leaves heading to go check his weapon and other equipment he would be packing tommorow. His mind lost in the running over the plan again and again in his head. The ultimate score he thought could also if things went bad could be the last score they would ever take. The sound of velcro causes him to turn his head as he sees Mike try on the bullet proof vest, they would all be wearing one on this score. The risk was to high to not take every precaution.

--Chris Spence--

He watched the other members of the crew rise from the table. This was their element. Chris was just there for the ride, especially if it turns explosive. A half grin slid across his face at the very idea. Yeah, it would be best if it was in and out, but that is boring. The crew is dissolving after this one, it should go out in style.

Chris lit a cigarette, taking a long drag before rising himself. He walked to the table where he had meticulously laid out the guns and ammunition. He picked up a M4, running his fingers over the barrel of the weapon, glancing over at Neal who was deep in thought. Chris set the weapon back on the table. He knew they were ready, everything was perfect. Chris clapped Neal on the shoulder, "Don't worry man. This one is like every other hit we have ever had. You are the man with the plan and you have every detail laid out." Taking another drag off his smoke, "If it goes awry, you've got me. You'll get out and have a nice quiet retirement."

Reluctantly, he strapped his vest on and went about securing his holsters. He was not stupid. This was not going to go down without a fire fight and he was going to be armed to the teeth, ready for some rent-a-cops to play cops and robbers. If he wasn't going to walk away a free man - no cop is going to walk away at all.

~~Chip~~

Chip's mind hadn't been focusing on the conversation at all until he heard his name mentioned, causing him to stand up straight. "Good news sir? We're both still 100% physically, mentally, and emotionally, and fully capable of handling the task that has been assigned to us." He blinked a couple times and looked from the Captain to Beatrix and back. "Oh, about the assignment itself..."

He took a couple of moments to gather his thoughts before continuing. “Well, sir, from everything we know about the bank, there is one conclusion as to the way they could possibly have a chance of pulling any kind of job off in there. To access anything not already publicly accessible, you need ID cards, and each branch makes their cards at the location. This way the cards can’t be intercepted and tampered with. You could steal them, but every entrance into the employee areas have guards to check for visual confirmation. The image of the employee isn’t simply attached as a sticker to the card, but literally made into the card itself, so it can’t be cut out and replaced with a new image. Therefore, the only way to have access to the building without drawing attention is to have an employee on the inside make the cards for them beforehand.”

“Still, not even that is a good guarantee. If I was doing this job, I would have all the security systems under my control beforehand, so that I dictate what the guards perceive is a threat. I wouldn’t implement this system the day of the heist, because it would draw too much attention, maybe the day before at the latest. If they spot anything weird with their systems, it’s probably a sign they’ve started that infiltration.”

“Even better would be to have someone on the inside here, to keep people from knowing when the job was going down.” Chip glanced over at Beatrix, who shared a knowing look with him. “If we’re going to stop them, we’ve got to keep all future plans to ourselves, just in case.”

“You can’t seriously think there’s a mole here, just for this one job, can you?” Chip merely shrugged as the two of them left the office.

... Beatrix Santiago ...

"Detective Santiago, you can't seriously believe-" the Captain called out and was silenced by the cold glare Beatrix threw over her shoulder.

"Do you honestly believe they would be on the loose right now if there wasn't?" Without another word, she and Chip left the room. Walking down the hall, Beatrix gave a small sigh. "Plan A is out. Plan B is still too risky. We go with Plan C then."

Beatrix tried not to show her disappointment. She had been personally hoping for plan B. However, the cards just didn't fall that way and it would be Chip's idea they would use. As they hit the doors leading back to their squad car, a frantic voice chased them.

"Detectives! Wait!" Beatrix' eyebrows rose slightly. She knew the heists had drawn attention but she didn't think it was big enough that the Mayor himself would feel obliged to visit the station. Besides the slight rise of her brows, nothing else showed her surprise. "Detectives... I understand the two of you sometimes utilize... less than conventional methods to get the job done. I know this is a high profile case, but..." the Mayor's beedy eyes darted between the two of them "... do whatever it takes, Detectives. Just get the job done!"

Beatrix gave Chip the slightest smile and he nodded ever so slightly in response. Plan B it was. They quickly exited the station, not bothering to respon to the Mayor, and once again found themselves in the black Crown, blending into the daily traffic. For a good while, they drove in silence. Both knew their destination long before they arrived, both preparing themselves. As the car rolled to a stop in front of an old warehouse, Beatrix reached under her seat for the hidden key. She pulled it free and led the way, unlocking the third door on the right and throwing the gate up, stepping through herself and allowing Chip to enter before slamming the gate closed. The third bay contained all the equipment they would need for Plan B. The right half of the loading bay held all sorts of technical equipment, plus side projects of Chip's as well as some black market goods they siezed. The left half was Beatrix' personal armory. Her simple pistol wouldn't be enough and there was nothing at the station house that would bear resemblance to the sort of power she needed. Picking up a modified M 16, she started checking over it absent mindedly as she spoke.

"I estimate fifty six casualties. If we're lucky, only fifteen casualties. How does the simulation look?"

-Neal McCully-

Only a grimm look anwsers Chris's enthusiasm and what he said to him even more so, "Don't start planning ahead yet chris we are not safe until we all gone on our seperate ways. Until then you will calm the **** down and stay focused on the job, understand? We are not aiming to get into shootout and you will not go cowboy on this got me?". Doesn't wait for the reply as he continued to check his equipment, and coverses with the two other members of the crew, Mike and Ethan. Turns to Damon as he himself lit up another cigerette, "Damon go ahead and set the program for the computer to turn itself and the alarm systems off in the bank". Began sliding extra magazines into the vest he would wear outside the body armor, 10 full exstended clips for his M4 should be enough in case things went bad.

More time passes by as he feels satisfied with the state of his gear, heads outside standing on the deck of the villa. Another cigerette is lit as he watches the sky, considering everything about what tommorow would bring. The sound of rouds being loaded into clips draws his attention briefly, but he resumes his gazing upon the stars above. His thoughts adrift with going over the plan in his head, and what the reward afterwards this score could bring him.

--Chris Spence—

“…and you will not go cowboy on this, got me?” Chris watched Neal’s back walk out the door. The conversation was obviously over so Chris shoved the three bags into the fourth and dropped in several extended clips of ammunition for the M4s & AKs, just in case. He was already packing quite a few extra for himself in addition to his standard fare.

In addition to the M4, his shoulder holsters held two Kimber SIS Custom .45 cal pistols. His belt held two Les Brea Thunder Ranch Commanches, .45 cal, as well as his always trusty D2 Extreme Ka-bar. All four guns held extended clips and he always made sure he had more than a few extras. Chris knew that all this firepower made Neal respond the way that he did, but this hit was the BIG one and the cops wanted to get them so bad they could taste it, especially after that last truck incident.

Chris studied the table, made sure there was nothing that he missed that needed to get packed. Satisfied that there was nothing else, he zipped up the bag and left it on the table. There was nothing more for him to do to prepare. He had done his job and made sure that all the weapons were there and in perfect working condition. All the ammo was loaded in the clips and laid out for the crew to take.

Nothing left for him to do, but wait.

~~Chip~~

Chip sat down in front of the multiple screens situated around the desk in their hidden base here in the city. Their methods usually were “unconventional,” and they needed outside resources to maintain their efficiency, such as the stockpile in the building here. The computers he was using had all been built up by him by hand, and each was individually tailored to specific tasks the duo needed to have accomplished.

One screen was running through simulations of how bank heists could turn out. The program pulled information from every known heist that was recorded, learned from them how to be successful on both sides, and applied it to the Maddison bank. “Hmm, didn’t expect that. It’s down to only 21 casualties no matter which side comes out.”

He wheeled his chair along the desk a few screens and stopped in front of one that had a graph that appeared to have a nearly straight line straight across the screen except for one spike about three quarters of the way through. Chip grinned at the sight. “Well well, it’s about time. I was starting to get worried these guys may not be up to it.” He typed a few keys and set a few batch command files into actions, various dialog boxes and progress bars appearing on the screen. He watched them for a few moments until the first screen blinked a light on top of the monitor and he rolled back to it.

“Almost promising. Simulator has a way for them to get away, only a few casualties, but it requires us both to die in a horrific traffic accident. I’ll let it keep working.” Moving back to the other screen yet again, he watched the slowly scrolling text and frowned. “They’ve finally made their move into the bank’s security system, but I don’t have the time to kick them out.” He turned around to face Beatrix. “If they’re really going to do this, it’s going down tomorrow.”

~Damon Archaes~

Damon typed in one quick command into the program.

"Alright, the bank doesn't open until 9:00 AM so I've set the alarm systems to automatically shut down at 9:40 AM sharp. That way, we shouldn't have too many civilians around and the guards won't be overly prepared for anything. This program acts as a copy of the security system, so they shouldn't notice that they were shut down. We'll have about one hour from the time the alarm is shut down to get to work before anyone notices something has gone wrong. It would take a genius to get past this program," Damon stated with an arrogant tone.

"We should be able to get in and out with no problems." Damon continued, as he stared at Chris.

Though he respected everyone in the group, Damon had never really gotten used to Chris' style when it came to weapons. It wasn't fear that he felt...no, it was more as if he could feel some kind of...aura around him. Damon just assumed that that is what it feels like to be around any assassin.

"I'm going to head on to bed. We've got a big day tomorrow."

[OOC: Ready on this end...]

... Beatrix Santiago ...

Beatrix smirked, running her hands along the cases of her assault rifles. They were tempting, but with such a high casualty count, Chip and Beatrix had to stand in the background and wait to strike. Let the others be fodder for the robber's bullets, they would need stealth, muscle, and accuracy. She finally came to her Barrett M107, the illegal sniper rifle she'd managed to swipe during a raid two months ago. Pulling it off the shelf and setting it aside for the time being, she continued her search.

"They'll do it tomorrow. We catch them as they leave. That will give us our best shot for the plan to work and the simulation runs best that way, I think. First, we take out their get away vehicle," Beatrix stopped in front of a shelf containing a single round of ammunition for the weapon she had in mind. Pulling the Vampir, RPG 29, off the shelf, she hefted the case onto the table next to her sniper, carefully setting the round inside its holder. "With the exit strategy ripped to shreds, they will be forced to flee on foot. As long as you secure our arrangements, we'll be able to track them down and put this business to bed."

Beatrix offered Chip a sly smile, pulling about ten flash bang grenades from the shelf closest to the gate. Setting them down on the table, Beatrix took a final look around, trying to remember what she was forgetting. Oh, yes, of course. Laughing silently, she walked over and pulled two kevlar vests out from a stack. Setting them on the table, and putting four more flash bangs with the others, Beatrix almost felt satisfied.

"Those nimrods better show up. If we went through all this for nothing, I'm going to be very upset," her voice was like ice, betraying no emotion, whether she was joking or being serious. It seemed almost like she didn't care which way the cards fell. In truth, she probably didn't. She walked to the gate and pulled it up, carefully loading her weapons of choice into the trunk of the Crown Victoria. She slammed the trunk shut and returned to the loading bay, closing the gate behind her and removing her coat, throwing it on the table. She took off the top to her suit as well, leaving it with her coat, and walked to lay down on one of two small cots in the far corner. "We've been up for 24 straight. I'm getting some sleep. Tomorrow... this ends." Beatrix laid her head down and sighed, her eyes sliding closed. "One way or another, it ends tomorrow, Chip."

-Neal McCulley-

The night passed and it was a restless one for him, the thought of finally being able to leave this kind of life behind daunting him. Brings another cigerette to his lips and lights it stadning on the deck of the villa. The sun was beginning to rise in the distance, it's faint light illuminating the room still containing the body armor, the guns, the ammo everything they would be bringing with them in a few hours. A few more hours passed as the sun finally rose in the distance, it was time to get ready for the last score he would ever take. Walks back into the villa passing by the table where they had planned the heist out to the finest detail, on the table now where all the ID's, credit cards and other documents each of the crew would need afterwards to dissapear.

Straps on the body armor, then buttoning up his shirt and placing the vest carrying his extra clips ontop of it, finally tighten's the tie around his neck. Places the strap around his M4, and secures it hidden under his suit coat. Grabs the ski mask off the table as he heads out to the car they where using waiting outfront, from th sounds of it the other crew where also getting prepared for the task that awaited them.

--Chris Spence—

The night passed quietly for Chris. He was never much of a sleeper – too many nights of not being allowed to sleep left him with little need for it. Sure after this was all over, he would probably hole up in some cabin in the mountains and sleep for days, but for now – an hour or two would hold him. Pulling on some shorts and tee-shirt, Chris left the villa hours before dawn to run a couple of miles.

Running was his safe place, gave him a chance to focus, become centered. Chris wasn’t nervous about today, but something was way off in his head. Normally, he always cold and calculated with everything, a job was always just a job. Something just to bide his time until something better came along. This job seemed different. The guys all seemed like they had their separate agendas. Instead of fluidity and what could be called camaraderie, everyone was reserved and said as little as possible. For Chris, that was par for the course, but the others it was just a little off.

The last time he felt this was one of his last missions in the Corps, except this time the shoe was on the other foot. Then he was part of enforcing the law, instead of breaking it. That was a long time ago and too many of his brothers fell on that one. Come to think if it, that was his last mission. He made a deal with the Devil that night and left the service shortly after his return to the States. Chris had been a “hero” too many times just to be gunned down in a foreign country just because he had an American flag on his arm. If he was going to be gunned down, it better be because he did something to deserve it and crime pays, especially with his skill set.

The house came back into view with early morning rays of sunlight making their way across the ocean. Chris stole back inside, took a shower to wash away the sweat from the run. He stepped out of the shower and looked at the expensive suit hanging in the closet. He had picked it up sometime in Italy a couple years back. Not his typical dress, but that is what Neal wanted. The Moschino trench coat would cover the all the weaponry well enough. Once dressed in pants and undershirt, Chris fastened the vest around his chest. As he pulled on his shirt over the vest and began fastening his gun belt and shoulder holsters. He placed each weapon in their holsters, loaded the extra clips and slid into the suit jacket. Chris looked himself in the mirror and smiled. He had the jacket made special so it would mask the bulkiness of his guns.

Dressed and armed to satisfaction, Chris grabbed the trench as he left the room and headed downstairs to grab his bag and mask. He opened to front door and locked eyes with Neal. “Ready. Let’s go do this.” He slid into the back seat of the awaiting car.

~Damon Archaes~

Damon sat in his room, looking over the blueprints of the bank and checking on the security system. He had to make sure that everything was covered. Though he couldn't find anything wrong, something kept bothering him. Was it because the plan was too perfect? Did everything fit too well? The more he thought about it, the more he began to search for possible problems.

"Wait...that detective...Beatrix and her partner, Chip...," he mumbled to himself. He began looking through their files and pulling up information on his computer. As he perused the information, he found out more about Chip's background.

"Chip...he's going to be a problem. Though I highly doubt he detected me, there's still a slim chance. Either way, it would be impossible to trace it here and I doubt they have enough time to set up a trap." he mumbled while frowning. He shut off the computer and decided to get some rest.

--Morning--

Damon quickly put on his suit. Though he didn't need them, he put on a pair of glasses, making him look even more intelligent and innocent. He smiled as he looked at himself in the mirror. He would be entering the bank first, helping distract the initial security while the others got in position. It was essential for him to not bring any suspicion on him until they were ready. As he walked out of the villa, he met up with the rest of the group.

"Well, I guess it's time. Though we shouldn't have any problems, we need to keep an eye out...particularly you, Ethan." Damon said as he waited by the car.

-Neal McCulley-

Gives each of the crew a knod as they all get into the car, the ride it seemed to him lasted a longer time than he thought it would. The magazine of his M4 painfully digging into his side as he sat in the car. Finally they pull up to the bank, turns to Ethan "Keep the motor running and keey your eyes peeled, watch the scanners for anything our radio's will be open so give us a shout.". Heads into the bank first, followed by the rest of the crew shortly after, each of the them spread out around the bank. His eyes looking around the bank, taking note of everything that would be of importance, his eyes finally spot the manager of the bank. Mike makes his way to the other side of the bank next to the security guard. Five minutes pass before he coughs giving the signal he was in position and ready, pulled the ski mask from the suit jack and pulls it over his face.

In a matter of seconds, Mike slams the gard hard with the butt of his Ak-47 sending the guard to the ground. Pulls the M4 out of his suit jacket taking aim as the other guard reaches for his gun. "DON'T MOVE, DON'T ****IN MOVE PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YA BEHIND YA AND GET ON YOUR KNEES". The guard does as he is told, Mike zip ties the other guards hands behind his back and then pulls on a ski mask of his own as he moves over doing the same to the guard he was holding at gun point. Leaps ontop of the ledges of the teller windows keeping his gun trained on the bank employees there, Mike yells at everyone to get down to the ground which they all do slowly. " Stay down, we want to hurt no one, we're here for the bank's money not your money; your money is insured by the federal government your not gunna lose a dime. Thhink of your families, don't risk your life, don't try and be a hero right now I want you to sit on the floor and put your hands on your head. Anybody feel sick, anybody with heart problem's go ahead and lean against the wall." Drops down off the ledge heading right for the bank manager.

Keeping his tone calm he gestures with his gloved hand for the key, "Give me the key". The manager looks at him then to the gun in bewilderment before he speaks, Wuh, what key?". Punches the manager hard across the face, taking the key off the man then forcefully grabs him by his shirt setting him in the chair of the desk "Sit there, sit there don't move don't move let it bleed." Walks over to Chris handing him the key to the vault and knodding to him to move on to the next part of the plan. Mike tosses his empty bag over to Chris as well, still keeping his gun and eyes trained on the rest of the people on his side of the bank.

--Chris Spence--

Chris took the key from Neal and made his way the vault. "Alright, so far so good." Chris said to himself as he unlocked the vault and made his way inside. Once inside, Chris set the bags on a table that was positioned in the middle of the room. He laid the four bags out, open, in order to load them as quickly as possible. Time was of the essence. Hurriedly, he started filling the bags with bundles of bills. He tried to be as neat as possible to get the maximun amount of money in each of the bags. Once each bag was filled to capacity, Chris zipped up each bag and carrying two in each hand, made his way back to the lobby of the bank to hand off the bags. "Alright. Thats is it. Let's get the f*** out of here."

~Damon Archaes~

Damon walked into the bank and walked over to one of the security officers.

"Sir, if you don't mind, I have a quick question. Do you know how to get to Avery Street? I have to make a quick withdrawl here and bring the funds to my client. However...," Damon began, keeping the security guard busy. As soon as Mike gave the signal, he checked his watch.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry...please forgive me for taking up your time...," Damon stated.

"It's no problem, sir. I'm glad I could he-," the officer began before he was struck by the Beretta Px4 Storm that Damon pulled from underneath his suit jacket. Though he carried the M4 that Neil provided for him, he preferred to use this weapon since it was lighter and easier to handle. He quickly zip ties the guard's hands and put on his mask

"...and I apologize for having to knock you out." he stated coldly as he stood guard with Mike.

"Everyone, we would like to make this as simple and painless as possible. If you cooperate, we will have no reason to harm you in any way. As my partner said, your money is insured by the government, so you don't have to worry about this at all."

As soon as Mike gave the signal, Damon grabbed one of the bags and began to walk out of the bank.

"Thank you, everyone for your cooperation. We apologize for any inconvienence." Damon said before walking out. He pulled off his mask just before opening the door.

-Neal McCulley-

Neal runs slightly over to Chris, the M4 moving around as he kept an eye on the people, "Down, Down". He and Mike both each take a bag from Chris as they make their own seperate ways to the door. Pulls off his ski mask tucking it and the gun inside the suit coat once again as he makes his leave. Mike goes out ahead of him, taking his mask off and rubbing a hand through his hair and goes out through the revolving doorway to the waiting car. Clamly strodes out the bank likewise as well but his eyes still looking all around him, despite things having gone over as planned he still wasn't entirely convinced they where home free with their score. A slight touching of his right gloved hand to his watch signaled Ethan to put the car in gear.

--Chris Spence--

With all the bags, except for his, handed off, he headed for the door. He slung the bag over his shoulder and as he was walking out the door, slid his mask off his face. Looking both ways, he walked out of the bank into the mid-morning sun.

... Beatrix Santiago ...

Beatrix watched four men enter the Maddison bank and smiled, walking away from the window. They were going about their plan like there was no one watching them, waiting for them. Beatrix was dressed for the occasion. Black sweatpants, running shoes, and a under armor shirt tight against her skin beneath the vest. Despite how well this plan worked, it would take a lot from her to execute it correctly. She would only have mere seconds between taking out the crooks and the patrol officers advancing to jump from the second story, land on the overhang for the first floor, then hop to the ground and sprint to recover the bags of money. It would take precise timing too, a thing her partner was excellent at managing. She nodded to Chip, who typed a few commands on his computer.

They had set up shop in an empty floor of the building caddy corner, the window over looking the entrance to the bank. Carefully, Beatrix stood near the window and grabbed her radio, taking a moment to make herself seem as panicked as she ever got. Chip pressed a button on his laptop that started a sound file with gunfire blaring loudly over the speakers.

"This is Detective Santiago, we have a robbery in progress at Maddison Bank, shots fired, subjects are armed with high powered machine guns and explosives, five civilians confirmed dead, all available units please respond!" Beatrix dropped the walkie on the ground and pulled her pistol, firing a single shot to destroy the piece of equipment. Chip said something and she nodded, quickly throwing the window open and grabbing for her RPG, hefting it onto her shoulder. She takes dead aim at the vehicle the robbers plan to escape in, waiting until the first of the men step out in the sun. A few patrol cars, sirens blaring, swing into view, their tires squealing as the inexperienced drivers tried to maintain control. The sirens blanketed the sound of the rocket igniting, the projectile shooting forth. As the vehicle exploded, Beatrix smiled. The first few cars to arrive on the scene instantly pulled their weapons and opened fire on the four men, too stunned to notice where the explosion came from. The now useless launcher fell from her shoulders as she laid on her stomach, crawling forth to grab her sniper rifle, already set up on the edge of the window. She lifted the sight to her eyes and took careless aim. Before she could start taking out the crooks, she had to make her report accurate. She squeezed the trigger eight times in rapid succession, holes blown straight through the bodies of seven people inside the bank. Who they were didn't matter, they had to die for the plan to work. Chip made a comment with a slight laugh and Beatrix threw him a glare as she reloaded.

"I didn't miss, had to break the glass first," she growled as she lifted the scope to her eye. The patrol officers were falling left and right, their aim terrible as they shook from fear. The robbers came more prepared than she expected and while the explosion of the vehicle froze the regular beat officers, the crooks seemed almost completely unfazed. This wasn't part of her plan. Her sight settled on a man, seemingly the one calling the shots, and she squeezed the trigger. The shot landed barely behind him, he had leaned forward at just the wrong moment. "****... that time, I missed."

-Neal McCulley-

Their get away car along with Ethan inside went up in flames, accompanied by police car screaming onto the scene.Mind immediately goes to the unfortunate plan B he hoped wouldn't happen on this score. Brings his M4 to his shoulder and opens fire upon the veichiles accompanied by the rest of the crew as they seperate into two's. Keeeping a constant volume of fire upon the police responding to the incident, runs up taking cover behind a taxi unleashing a full burst from his M4 taking down two patrol officers. Key's his radio "DAMON MOVE UP, MIKE AND CHRIS AFTER HIM, WE ARE GOIN TO PLAN B STAY IN TWO'S MEET UP AT THE SAFEHOUSE". Drops down as bullets pinged the car he was taking cover behind as he pulled the spent clip from his weapon and slamming a new one home, rises up from the car unleashing another burst from the weapon. "What the hell had they missed? What had given them away?". Banishes the thoughts from his mind as he contines to fire at the police.

People that got caught in the crossfire now begin to try and leave the street making his shots harder to make as he didn't kill anyone he never had to. Takes aim as a Detective hoisting an M16 spray's shots at him. Pulls the trigger the burst catching the man full in the chest causing him to fall to the ground, turns covering their backside as police began to move up in that direction as well. The resto of the crew still mainting their fighting in two's keeping a good volume of fire on the police and moving forward, a near close shot goes into the window of the car he standing infront of causing him to drop, and couch low then pop up on the other side of the car releasing another automatic burst from his rifle. The police cars infront of him and his crew now shot to hell, and the remaining officers still continuing to return fire, one round hits the vest under his clothing making take a step back. Shell casings now litter the city street outside the bank.

--Chris Spence--

Instantly, a bank robbery in New York resembled a fire fight in Bosnia. Chris could hear Neal shouting about a Plan B and moving off in pairs. Mike was a good guy and all but Chris didn’t trust him to cover his six in a fire fight. Chris pulled both of his guns from his shoulder holsters. With a quick glance to check the position of his crew members, Chris began firing at any person that was in sight. What seemed like random shooting were really calculated shots aimed for the cops that were shooting at them and whoever got in the way. Taking cover where is it was available, mostly parked cars, he was taking out as many as possible without getting him or Mike killed.

Even with the extra rounds in the clips, Chris felt like he was reloading as quickly as he was shooting. It seemed like only moments before he had to switch from the SIS customs to the Commaches on his belt. “F&**!” Chris grunted when a bullet tore through his arm. It wasn’t enough to disable him, but it still hurt like hell.

It is going to be near impossible to walk away from this.

~Damon Archaes~

As Damon walked towards the car, he could hear the faint sound of gunfire. Though it seemed far away, it caused him to pause for a few seconds a few feet from the car. Just as Damon resumed walking again, the getaway car burst into flames. A shockwave from the explosion knocked Damon onto the ground. As he tried to piece the events over the last few seconds together, Neil began to shout out commands to the group. He quickly pulled out the M4 that he was provided with and began to pick off officers with short bursts. Though he was avoiding any vital spots to keep from killing anyone, he made sure that they wouldn't be able to counterattack.

"Impossible! How did they figure it out? It was a foolproof plan...maybe that's why they were able to think of it. If that's the case...," Damon thought to himself. He continued to follow Neil, taking down any officers he could. He wasn't about to die in a firefight.
