I just noticed that there wasn't a topic for 2010 so here we go!
So just say who's going and as what. I'm trying to get my anime club to go as a group but we'll see how that goes. If I do end up going I have 2 cosplays up my sleve so we'll see what happens.

THERE WASN'T A TOPIC FOR THIS, YET?! WTF?! I didn't even notice! I've been posting in Megacon forums in a few different places and I guess I figured this was one of them!
I'm going all three days. Friday is Kula Diamond, Saturday is Link, and Sunday is Giselle because I really don't think I'll finish KP in time. She'll be done for METRO, though!!

I will be there just one day this year. Friday. I work the other days, LOL. I hope to be able to scrounge the cash together to get a day pass, LOL.
As far as what I am wearing, that depends if I get stuff to the cleaners in time! I have a list in my head of my Megacon Costume Hierarchy. XD

Meh.. I might go and just camp out in the hallways and watch the cosplayers. I went last year and I was bored to tears we ended up just going to Islands of Adventure and Universal the other 2 days because we couldn't take it anymore.

That sounds cool, I know, most people just go for the huge vender room. But last year was pretty cool. I saw some dancing pocky and they rick rolled a lot of people that day lol

I will be there as Harley Quinn [ big surprise lol], with a group of other Batman Cosplayers, because Adam Hughes and Chuck Dixon are going to be there :D I'm hoping to be there for all three days but if not then Saturday it is . :)

Ren Faire conflict for you, too? I don't know about the Ren Faires, but I know Megacon books a few years in advance with the OCCC, which is why they can announce the dates so early. So maybe it should be "why is the Ren Faire that weekend?!" XD
Hope you can come either Friday or Sunday, though!!

Most renfaires book a year in advance or they have a lease on the grounds for X amount of years. They talk to other local faires and try to make sure they don't overlap with any other renfaire in (generally) a 100 mile radius. This way the performers that work the national circuit can make it to their faire plus all the others. :)
This has been your renfaire politics 101 lesson of the day. :D

Turns out I am going Saturday, too. Friday is now Saki Hanajima, and Saturday SHOULD be my Steampunk Tohru, allowing that I can get it cleaned in time...

Alex said he met with Kyo today. He should be done on Sunday. It would be great if you guys could at be in your Mascot cotumes at Mega (or at leaast something close).

YAY! The sketches are going to be epic! Maddie, I can't wait to see your costume! :D I'll be able to get the fabric on the 7th so if I work on it constantly the main should be done by the. >.<

I'll be there with a Final Fantasy XIII group all weekend. I'm doing Serah Farron and Tyler's doing Snow Villers. We also have a Lightning, Hope, Vanille, Lebreau, and Fang :3
Though I'm making Serah, Hope and Snow and I'm not even CLOSE to being done X.x Mega can take it's time coming >.>

Looks like my funds won't get Tohru cleaned in time, so I am replacing it for Saturday. Not sure what yet. Still wearing Hana on Friday, though! XD
Probably pull out one of my EGL dresses, since they are comfy and all. Or throw something random together with my purple fuzzy legwarmers or something....I dunno...
