Hey there folks. I've been brainstorming & have spoken to some of the High Brass about a fight show I'd like to hopefully promote for Metrocon 2010.

What I have so far is a mix MMA & the theatrics, stunts, & the use of "hardcore match weapons" of professional wrestling. Think of pre-athletic commission UFC when they had almost no rules & pre-WWE ECW when they were actually hardcore. Think of it somewhat like Human Combat Chess which the fights are fought similar to a hardcore match like in pro wrestling. Tables, chairs, ladders, shinais/kendo sticks, etc.

Would this be presentable & or marketable at an anime convention?

PLEASE GIVE OPINIONS & PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ON THIS.

Yes. They will be original compared to the already established characters in the Chess & there will be a story, ofcourse.
