Hey, I think I post a "cosplayers wanted" ad up here every year, so here I go again!
Soul Eater!
If you don't know Soul Eater then:
You can watch it on veoh for free, with subs.
And read it online at onemanga for free.

The characters from this series all have very simple clothes that are easy to find and easy to put together. This is a great first time cosplay as well as a "I'm on a budget cosplay." But surprisingly, there are more difficult ones to do as well for those that want a challenge. I want to do a skit if the group gets big enough, but elsewise I just want to gather a group for a photoshoot at con.
What I want to know is who will join me in cosplaying from it!!
Of course, all characters are wanted including Crona, Maka, Soul, Kid, etc. I've claimed Medusa-san though.

i made a post for this as well! unfortuantely i'll be doin soul eater on sunday so i cant do the skit thing. but just so you know, ill be maka on sunday -^^-

I've been reading Soul Eater and am in total love ha ha. The style is reminiscent of like...D.Grayman and Hellsing but it has cute moments. The concept is neat. =D I really wanna cosplay as Medusa (barefoot snakey hooded version lol) someday. <3

I am not sure my cosplay line-up but i will be bringing Black Star. Still not 100% sure which version i am doing of him though. I am stuck between normal scythe version or demon-blade form.

We're looking for a medusa for our group, if you do Soul Eater on Saturday. We have an Eruka, but out group is still missing some key members.

I am going to be Death The Kid. It would be nice to get a big group, I was planning of going all 3 days as Death the kid but only if there is going to be a lot of soul eater cosplayers. Otherwise saturday and sunday are going to be my two days of being death the kid. PM me if you wanna talk up a plan ^.^ Also if I can get two girls to be liz and patty that would ROCK!! ^.^

ok well i wasnt paying attention to when this one was posted since it did not show any activity until just recently and was not active when I made mine, to my knowledge. For in which I apologize, but now there is two threads which both contain knowledge of when events are happening etc ^.^

Soul Eater, personally I think it is freaking awesome but at the same time it appeals to the naruto and bleach demographical audience i.e. Tweens...
That's not to put a downer on the anime/manga. I think it's got a great story line and the character development is better than most. So personally I recommend checking it out if you get the opportunity.
