Written by Patricia C. Wrede, these books are listed as "Young Adult" literature. But do not be fooled by their classification. No, indeed, these are written for people of many ages. If you are a fantasy fan, if you like comedy, and if a unique view of character development is something you're interested in- then this is the series to read.

They are easy to read, and you could probably blow through them in a day or two, so don't feel overwhelmed by the four volumes.

Anyway, this is a great series to read. I'd also like to say that if you're a fan of funny, silly and/or ridiculous scenarios these really are a good find for you. The hilarity of all of them just makes me roll every time I pick them. Honestly now, I'm almost 22 and I am reading them and realizing that the re-read value is INSANELY high, you know?

I loved those books! I had to buy them just so that I can reread them when ever I felt in a mood for a fairytale with a different twist!

Oh wow! I haven't read that series since 7th grade!! It's been sitting on my shelf ever since. But I love the series!! I just normally don't read a book more than once or twice. Ironically though, I've been thinking about reading that lately. I love that book though!! It's so funny and the perfect genre of reading for me. ^_^
