Here's the skinny:
You may be asking yourself why we have a section for private RPGs when someone can very easily still post their exclusive topic in the RPG section and say, "This is invite only." or "Please PM Me With Applications." That's great, please continue to do so, because that's not the type of thing that belongs here.
In here you'll probably be writing in a slightly different format than most RPGs, you've already found your players so you don't need to post looking for them, it's restrictive, and you already have a story planned out. These kinds of collaborations tend to be more stories than RPGs, which is why we have a separate space for them. Also, these stories have either two or three collaborators. No more, no less.
OOC topics still belong in "Off The Record", properly labeled. If you are meeting with your fellow collaborator[s] outside of AM or you are communicating through PMs, you don't need to have an OOC topic. (But remember, people who read it will find themselves without a place to comment.)
Make sure to have the applicable warnings for the story in the opening post. You are allowed to double post only for the opening posts. The first should be a short, this story may contain ____, _____, ____. The second post should be the opening to your story.
Other than that, have fun spinning us a story.
