Ok everyone, I've been meaning to do this for a while and keep getting distracted.
It's AnimeMetro.com's 5th anniversary as of this August. I'm going to revamp the site as soon as I can, but, in the meantime we've got something else for you.
AnimeMetro.com has always been about the fans. So, it's about time we have some fan imput on the look of the site.
I want to see what all of you are capable of so, here's your chance to show off and make new banners for the site. We're leaving the look and slogans up to you. You've seen the ones we've had up top for a whiie now so take a cue from them.
Banenrs MUST be in jpg, gif or png format and MUST be 590 x 150 pixels. Of course, you have to maintain a PG-13 rating here so nothing bad. ;p
If I think the banners are good enough, you might find yours on the rotation up top. So, if you like, put your screenname (small print) on it in the lower right corner of the banner in the font Verdana. If yours doesn't wind up there, don't feel bad. Keep trying. ^_^ This is all for fun and to see what everyone can do.
Go ahead and post the banners in here.
Oh..and no public criticism of other people's banners please.

Mine are nothing spectacular like the previously submitted banners, but I try. I figure, since I am on here more often than I am on the forum I actually MODERATE (oops...), I should contribute!! =)

I made some! I didn't want to go too elaborate because if it was too busy it could either be distracting or you could loose the banner, so they are very simple.
Roy: I could make some more elaborate ones if you think these are too simple. You just have to ask.

Okay, converted the old three to .jpegs to make them smaller. Yeah, yeah, just don't rub it in, Roy. ;P Also added a Naruto one.

O_o people keep saying "I'm not very good at this", but end up making *amazing* banners. I think my favorite is Neko_Kaollas Gundam Wing one. So cute!

All of you are doing really well! I'm saving all the banners everyone makes and I'm really proud of everyone who has submitted. Keep up the good work guys.
Oh, just to let everyone know, we will be something else kinda like this coming up soon. No hints though. You'll see it eventually.

Oh the joys of finding a defect in one's own banner. _-_
Here is my Naruto banner, take 2! I adjusted it so the left side would align properly with the AM logo at the top of the site if chosen. ;P

Amber, I want to know how you get that lined look, I've seen it on alot of artwork- but I've never seem to be able to make it myself. Is it in the layering?
