It's the medevial times the Crusaders are in a constant struggle against the forces of warlords of the powerful serpentine cult, who continues to expand their control over the lands. The battles following have been massive as well have the losses, the serpentines continue to push forward despite their own casualties. The holy crusaders have sworn to put the dark cult down and destroy their dark reign over the lands. The Archbishop has declared that this war is god's will, and the leader of the Serpentines has decalred their war to be a righteous conflict from their infernal lord. The rest of the land stands divided some simply stnading by as the conflict continued, some cowering in fear of the Serpentines attacks, and others with resenting hatred towards the cult for what they have done. Now both sides prepare for another all out conflict between each other and both sides leader's having sworn that no mercy will be shown. Though it has become apparent that destroying the crusaders and the church is not the serpentines only cause, recently survivors of their attacks claim they where looking for a certain woman. Rumors have spread throughout the land that the cult now is looking for a woman pure and untainted, who as they believe will bear the child known to them as the antichrist. Time is against the crusaders as the Serpentines have stepped up their conquest and the apparent search for their certain woman.

-Malebolgia-

Finally makes his awaited entrance into the sanctuary, the small chatter between his followers going silent as his footsteps echo through the great hall. One by one they all bow their heads to him as he makes his way up to the altaer where the girl was shackled down to, black eyes look into the pleading ones of the their chosen one. Turns his black robed form stretching arms out wide as he speaks to the cult, "My beloved deciples, our moment of destiny has finally come. The mother is here before us and in due time she will bear the child that will bring forth the infernal lord's vision of peace and freedom to the god ruled tyranical world as we have seen it to be, but let us also never forget those who gave their life to make sure this day would come". At the conclusion of his speech the numerous black armor clad hordes before him now echo as one shouting "HAIL OUR BREATHREN HAIL". A smile comes to his face as he throws back the hood of his robe and gently removes the girls, handing both off to a similairly black robed serpentine priest standing to the side.

A pair of priests begin reciting the selected passages out of their books, these passages begging for the dark lord himself to allow his vision to be given to the child, that would be the result of the ritual. A few minutes pass as they finally finish, closing their books they and the honor guards step back from the altaer. Without turning he issues the next set of orders, the ritual was to be performed in private save for two priests who would remain in the great chamber. A high rank serpentine now barks orders for the numerous fellow cult members to leave the great hall and let the ritual begin. The loud sound of the many upon many armored foot steps leaving echoing through the great hall.

The last of the soldiers leave as the black robed priests now wrap great chains around the door handles of the heavy wood entry to the hall; finally a lock is securley set in place to make sure the ritual wouldn't be disturbed. Malebolgia now once again looking deep into the girl's eyes,as his left hand gently strokes her hair; his voice no longer having it's dark commanding tone. "Our child will bring forth the peace that the land craves, and soon there won't be a need for violence or war. He will bring Satan's truth and vision to the world".Now slowly removes the light last garment covering the girl and his black robe falls to the stone floor of the Serpentine's great hall. The black robed priests light two specific candles, the smoke leaving great trails and the ritual began. A thought entering Malebolgia's mind as he began performing the ritual, "No matter what happens the Serpentines will live on no matter what happens".

But little did he know that when the sun went down on the horizon it would be the last, time the Serpentine stronghold nad many of it's inhabitants would ever see daylight again. As the ritual continued the two black robed priests still stood at attention, their eyes inside the hood's of the robes foucsed upon the entry to the great hall.

::Leon::

'Was it fear that kept me from acting?' I asked myself as I was led deeper into the castle, chains rattling with every step. I had said that only in my death would I allow the Serpentines to take Sirekka and the Sorceress. But then I had just stood there unable to move unable to speak so utterly powerless. Only able to watch as they were dragged away.

The man called Jasper whispered threats about my death should I fail to obey. 'Was that what had striped me of my courage?' I asked myself. 'No,' I answered. 'I was prepared to die at that time. What then? What kept me from acting?'

Suddenly I was forced to a halt. A door was opened and I was thrown insided and with a clang the heavy iron door was sealed behind me. Then I was alone. The darkness surrounded me, suffocating me. The questions then returned repeting over and over. I knelt to the ground, my hands grasping at my head, trying to force the questions and doubts away, but to no avail.

A deep warmth then filled me, and pushed away the questions and doubts. Suddenly I knew why I had been unable to act, I had lost my faith. I had taken on everthing without relying on Gods strength to guide me. I had taken on the darkness without a way to shield myself from it.

With that realisation came a calm approval so vast and patient that no human could possibly understand it. My mind set, I bowed my and saught guidance from the Father.

-Malebolgia-

Mind is now in somewhat disbelief as he and his escort continued to make their way through the maze like passages of the Serpentine stronghold, finding himself in disbelief that the search was over, his life was soon to be over; and in due time the war with the crusaders would be over. After years of hardship, bloodshed, and in his case after that fateful day tears shed. His life's work was soon to be ending or as it was looking continuing on without him for a due amount of time. The numerous voices filling the halls from the sanctuary causing him to drift back towards the moment, shakes his head as he clears his mind. His attention would need to be on completing the ritual, and more importantly fighting the infection slowly claiming him piece by piece. But one thought enters his mind, would he when the end finall came which was not too far off; would he finally be at peace? After brining a war to the church's tyranical door and bringing many of it's followers to their knees and ending their pathtic lives.

Another memory enters his mind now as his mind drifts a little more, recollecting the old days. There she and him stood together, in each other's arms; in one of the many parchment rooms the church had down below. Faith's beautiful green eyes looking into his soft black ones, her right hand toyingly moving the big cross hanging from his neck. The fear of being caught causing him to constantly look around, the comforting feel of her head against his chest. Her voice causing a smile to come to his face at the recollection of it as she asked him, "What if they catch us?". His foolish reply to her question as he thought back on it coming from his mouth; "They won't, they couldn't have seen me coming down here". If only he knew then how wrong he was and that would be the last time he would ever get to hold her. The next day, which now was the cause his black gaze hardened and his lack of caring for others who served a tyranical god and religon died. When he was forced to watch the one person who meant the most to him, more than god, more than any bishop or pope; being tied to a stake and burned. The next day after the execution came his dessertion of the church, and the quest to bring the infernal lord's truth and vision into the world; and more importantly bring the high and mighty accusing church down. The loud sound of armored bodies moving into the sanctuary causing it to echo through the halls, shaking him out of his memories. Another lesson he learned his silently repeats to himself, "The past is the past, only thing I can do now is try to ensure it won't happen again".

Stops as he remembers what he needed to be relayed before he began the ritual as he would not be able to stop to have this message delayed, looks to the honor guard on his right and speaks. "After the ritual inform Jasper to have him implement our fail safe plan with the girl, and I want it kept discreet is that understood?". A knod of the honor guards helmeted head acknowledges the command, the torch light from the sanctuary now fill the passage way ahead of him and his guards. Closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, as he absent mindidly put a hand to his wounded infected shoulder. "May the infernal majesty finally grant me peace for bringing forth his vision into the world as much as I could". Resumes his pace towards the awaiting horde of his loyal followers, even if the crusaders where on their way to the stronghold, which he strongly believed given their unwelcome guest; they wouldn't stop the cult's future from continuing on.

~**Sirekka

"I am not your enemy here," the simple words came from the witch beside Sirekka, her eyes turned to stare at the woman. "I tried to help you both, but I failed.I am sorry for that."

Prehaps it was the drugs that were still clouding the young girls mind but there seemed to be truth ringing in those words, she strangely wanted to believe the sorceress. The beautiful woman's eyes were fixed on the Serpentine Jasper, they were full of pain and conflicted feelings.

"But I can not help you now my dear, without giving up something very dear to me. The only comfort I can give is that you'll live long enough to see your son take his first breathe".

The leader Malebolgia ordered for them to be taken to sanctuary, Sirekka heart began to pound painfully in her chest, though she could not stuggle as she wished to, her body was too weak to fight. So, her tears fell from her cheeks in silence as they carried her through the halls, the sound of marching feet behind her, to her a sound of death. They entered a large chamber and she was shackled down to a stone slab, the tears blurred her vision, she thanked whatever god looked over her now, she didn't want to see what was about to befall her.

*/\ Aniek /\*

Aniek stood alone a momment as every being around her moved towards another chamber, she felt froze, in a daze. Her premonitions weren't coming true as she had seen them, it was not her meddling that had swayed fate...it was Lady Aurora. From the day she took Aniek to Avalon, she had altered it, had she too been just a puppet to the great lady?

Her sense alarmed her of someone's approach, someone moving against the flow of the others. Her sister Nyda touched her arm, and Aniek's green eyes flickered to match hers.

"Aneik. I'm sorry you're apart of this, but I no longer am. If you get out of this alive, come find me sometime. I'll be out and about in the world...out torturing the weak and all that." Nyda kissed her sister's cheek, and Aniek gently closed her eyes recieving it. "Maybe I'll return home for a time. Goodbye sister." With that Nyda took towards the door that would lead her to freedom, a door Aniek's couldn't walk through. Her heart searched for her beloved Jasper, and found his spirit changed, he was not the man she had fallen in love with, but to stop loving him is something she could not do.

The great soceress had fallen victim to one of the greatest magics the world would ever know, love. Her feet began to move slowly towards the sanctuary. Aniek's eyes rose to her sisters, hearing her call for her, they would walk into the chamber united as one. Aniek stepped into time with her sisters long stride without any effort.

"Nyda, we mustn't interfere...not any more. I don't believe the world can stand for much more meddling, we must just let it happen," her words were just as much to herself as to her sister. They entered the great chamber and again Aniek's contrast to the black clad hord of Serpentine soliders was remarkable, giving her a heavenly appearance in the hell that the poor woman before them had been drug down to unwillingly. Aniek's eyes moved to Jasper, who was predictably at Malebolgia's side.

My dear love, where will you go when your lord is dead? Is it only then we can be together?

Nyda

Recent events transpired very quickly. The crusader king was taken below, the girl was seized and taken to the alter, and the great Serpentine King, Malebolgia was carried away by his most loyal servant, Jasper. Aneik was hanging back like Nyda, calculating her next move. Nyda finally decided it was time to do something. The world as everyone knew it was about to change and Nyda didn't intend to hang around much longer, but she had unfinished business.

The Mord-Sith crossed the room to where her sister was standing. She touched her arm. "Aneik. I'm sorry you're apart of this, but I no longer am. If you get out of this alive, come find me sometime. I'll be out and about in the world...out torturing the weak and all that." Nyda kissed her sister's cheek. "Maybe I'll return home for a time. Goodbye sister."

Nyda left her sister's side and started walking away, before hesitating and looking back at the Serpentine and Jasper, moving with the guard toward the Sanctuary where the girl on the alter was. Could she just walk away from this? From everything? Something was happening here...possibly the most important thing on this side of the world. The Mord-Sith worked best if in service to some higher leader, but she could think of better things than being in servitude to that man....like a slow, painful death maybe.

Still. Nyda couldn't walk away. She followed behind the guard, her hand lingering on her lion-headed sword. She glanced back at Aneik and beckoned to her. If she was going to walk into that room, she wasn't going alone.

-Malebolgia-

The crusader king is led off in shackles to the chamber's below as he is ushered into a medical room, the physicians circling around him now as they remove the robe to inspect the wound. A sharp pain reaches his senses as he looks down to see them pouring a liquid onto the wound to clean it, looks to his honor guard still with him; " Have the girl set upon the altaer and all our number assembled and ready in the sanctuary." A bow of their heads anwsers his requests as they turn to leave and have his will be done, another prod at his infected wound causes him to cringe a bit. One physician now stands up from prodding the wound and speaks to him, "My lord as we predicted sadly the infection has gotten into your blood. And is reaching the vital organs, your time is short". Despite already having the knowledge the infection would kill him still didn't dampen the shock of hearing that his time was over.

After the years of planning, miles traveled, blood spilled; and comrades within the cult he started lost. it was this wound that would kill him and not a crusader blade. Knods to the physicians as the wound is numbed with the mixture of another liquid being poured into it, rises up off the table placing the black robe around himself again. A bit of time passes as the guards gently bring the girl up to the altaer in the sanctuary, adorned with the black and red Serpentine banner. Laying her down upon it, they move to the sides locking her hands in shackles and leave her be. The numerous black clad legions of loyal Serpentines now gather in formations in the large room, awaiting the arrival of their lord.

Begins to make his way towards the sanctuary, the honor guards infront and in back of him highly tense, their hooded heads constantly looking from side to side, their black armored hands on the hilt of their swords. The numerous small chatter from the sanctuary now reaching his ears as he is not far off from it now.

Jasper Gabrael

He could smell the delirium growing in his Lord's blood and could feel his fever growing through his black armor. When Jasper looked up to shout for someone who valued their life to hurry, several men appeared and took the Lord from him with physicians following at their heels. His Lord would be treated, but there was another issue to be dealt with here. Jasper's sword rose again as the surrounding room filled with men from his personal unit. There was no way the filthy Crusader King was going to fight his way out of this. The Adder Company's finest hundred warriors stood behind Jasper, men who trained with their Knight personally and on a daily basis.

"Put the weapons down, Crusader," he said in a smooth tone. Gabrael felt like he was simply playing with his food. "You've maybe beaten three or four men at once in a duel? Five at best? With swords no doubt. Each of these men train against the other nine in their squad with their personal weapon. They are Elite amongst the Serpentines. They are the bloodthirsty creatures that haunt the nightmares of your wounded veterans and leave your dying screaming in feverish terrors. You have no escape, surrender."

Jasper's feet subtly shifted as he sheathed his sword, right hip turning toward the King whilest his left hand remained on his weapon. His men cringed, that was not a negotiating stance. Twisted Cat was the first of Thirteen Techniques Jasper had aquired in his isolation chamber under the tutelage of the Lady Aurora, who apparently was instructing him from beyond the grave to effect the designs of fate. As the preformer progressed through each Technique, the kata relied less on a blade and more on the hands and feet. It was a brutal thing that he had reserved for the higher-ranking warriors. Jasper had never gone past the Third technique.

-Malebolgia-

Strained in the grasp of his loyal searvant, the pain still searing within him His time was drawing towards it's unfortunate end. His black eyes still having their intense gaze filled with anger and hate, but within his mind he began to plan if the sole crusader was here; he surely had more of their force coming to the cult's doorstep. His free right hand now weakly grabs the snake headed handle of his sword trying to lift it off the ground with little successs.

Breathing becoming heavy and haggard as he struggles to fight the pain searing through his body. The infection was growing more and more deadlier as time dragged on. A slight trickle of blood now falls from the wound that started it all, down to the stone floor of the throne room. The black eyes bearing on the crusader before him, fighting to stay open as his vision begins to loose focus. As his vision like the infection worsens what appears to stand before him instead of the crusader causes his eyes to widen.

There she was......, though he could not entirely make out the face but it looked like it was her, looking just as beautiful and full of life as she had been even on that ever so fateful day. There stood his lost Faith, her voice sounding innocent and pure echoing in his head, "Not yet, my love not yet". As quickly as it seemed she was there, she was gone, looks down to the stone floor once again then back to Jasper/ "Get me out of here". Inside the cult's leader;s mind, he began like he had done many times before over the course of the Serpentine's campaign, how to beat the odds against him and overcome. But in this case he could not forsee a way to beat the current battle with the disease spreading within him, the only option that seemed the best choice would be........ A slight smile comes to his face as he settles on the fail safe plan to keep his dream alive even after the infection would claim his life.

Jasper Gabrael

None moved as fast as he, none thought as fast as he, none could count to a single second as he moved. Jasper vanished from where he had stood and was at his Lord's side, supporting his weight with his toned and trained body easily despite the garb his Master wore. It was at that moment, with his inhuman speed prevailing, that the blessings and existence of the Infernal Lord were proven. Gabrael was a beast of the Beyond that knelt to only one man, the man he now supported with no real effort. His voice was loud and just as commanding.

"Fetch the physicians! Prepare a sick room! If you're not out of my sight and in motion within this sentence I will kill you myself!" He shouted, glancing ferally at the men around him. Three took off in one direction as two guards bolted in another. They knew he would follow through with it. He was barely a man any more, as far as they were concerned, he was a demon serving their Master in his goals. This was untrue, Jasper was simply a man gifted for his loyalty.

His eyes never left the man named Leon, still poised to kill him if he moved in a way he didn't like. Jasper would kill him where he stood if given the word and not even a blade in the belly would stop him from ripping the man's head from his shoulders. His hatred for this leader of persecuting hypocrites emanated from his very body, creating an aura of loathing about the man as he held his wounded Lord upright. He would wait, despite his fury, on a command.

-Malebolgia-

Still stares dead center with the crusader before him, the snake headed sword's blade still poiting right at Leon; and that's when the pain got worse. Eyes now look down to the stone floor of the throne room, the shoulder flaring with mind numbing pain, drops the sword as he slowly looses his stance. Breahing beomes heavy and hard, the pain this time not easing up one little bit his hand shaking as he tries to right himself again. The message was simple, his time was drawing to it's end if the infection could do this to him then it was reaching serious proportions.

A single cough comes out of his mouth, his voice stil filled with its' commanding tone "Help....Help me stand".

~**Sirekka

Sirekka had been removed from the great chamber in silence, large men pulling her forward and taking her into a side chamber. It was small, warm and well lit. A smell of insense filled her nostrils making the poor girl dizzy, causing her eyes to droop despite the anxiety clutching her heart and stomach.

She stiffened and stuggled as they held her and the physician from eariler came forward. Tears filled her eyes as she pleaded.

"Let me go, please just release me...I'm not the one your looking for,I beg you," her voice broke and trembled. They stripped her and threw an emerald green loose fitting dress over the slim form of her body, and drew a black cloak around her, raising the hood to hide her face.

Her sobs slowly subsided as the smoke made her mind cloudy. She watched images whirl by as she was brought back into the great chamber, she was unaware of what was happening. Her brows drew together slightly seeing a figure resembling the great christian king. Her heart soared with a slight gleem of hope, her body however stumbled and was steadied by the guards.

Oh great father you have sent me but the most brave of your flock, the most faithful, thank you, thank you great father...

Sirekka observed the room and noticed the witch very close to her, she slunk away in terror and disgust.

Jasper Gabrael

It took little to no effort for Jasper to recover from the pair of blows dealt to him by the Crusader, body flipping backward, bending at an awkward angle, and drawing him to his feet. It took a considerable amount of effort, however, to reign in the Beast once the Great Lord had taken charge of the situation. Gabrael still did not agree with simple deals and threats, but he wasn't the man in charge.

Part of Jasper wanted to move forward anyway, the Crusader scum was near to his beloved Aniek and was close enough to kill both her and the woman they had worked so hard to find. He would not let anything happen to either of them. His blade hissed as he drew the curved weapon in a manner so perfect that even the hours of practice the Honor Guard experienced could not compare to the technique he displayed. Jasper stood ready, Gabrael's malevolent spirit burning in his blade as much as it leaked out of his eyes. He would kill this man if he so much as touched Aniek.

-Malebolgia-

Hand clutching his sword now rises as the blade is ready infront of him, "Bear this in mind cross bearing wretch, you are all alone here, there are numerous guards outside those doors easily summonable". That point is proven as Malebolgia rang a small bell next to the throne. Black eyes look from the crusader's leader to the heavy wooden doors into the throne room behind him then back to the man, as the guards now come through the doors, their weapons coming to bear upon Leon. "And if death is the path you wish to choose then we shall all too happily grant that request". The honor guards slowly move infront of him as he rises off the throne moving towards the king, 'Don't think that you can just intrude on our home and snatch what we have been looking for". A cirlce of the honor guards and himself now surround Leon, the tight grips on their swords and the faceless helemets showing no indication that they were hesitant to kill the man before them.

Cold stare locks with Leon's and the snake headed sword in his hand's ready to strike, 'Now I offer you this sole bargain and it will only be offered once. Drop the swords and step away from the girl and you have my word no harm will come to you and for a good piece of time, you have my word your towns will be safe from us". The desire to just outright kill the church serving king who had killed his fellow breathren in combat, tearing away at him but now was not the time for blood spilling if it could be avoided. "You forces are in a crippled state are they not? The attack on the river city dealt you a considerable blow, and don't lie to me I led the attack personally I saw the damage". The tone coming from him dark liek his gaze and the next part it considerably darkens as he utters the last sentence. "Don't accept this offer, then I swear by our infernal lord the last thing anyone will hear from you, will be your scream of pain coming from the chambers below."

As the last sentence leaves his mouth, the shoulder flares up once again, but this time he is unable to hide the pain. Stumbles a bit as he is unable to keep his balance, his black eyes closing in pain. The infection was growing worse and worse as time dragged on. The cult's physicians who had examined him, had predicted it would continue to spread, eventually reaching vital organs. His free hand now on the wounded shoulder, the other still holding the sword infront of him. His black eyes re-open as he refocuses on Leon infront of him, "Now what is your decision crusader? Live or die make your choice?". The throbbing in his shoulder not stopping as the infection continued to spread in his body. There was no doubt in his mind that his time was drawing to it's end, and he needed to bring forth the prophecy as soon as he could.

Aniek's sweet lips curled mishcievously at the corners as Malebogia addressed her presences in thier sacred room. Drawing her from her own mind slowly.

"Thought we had locked you up and threw away the key?"His voice was tainted slightly, she was sure her presence couldn't have spooked him that much, otherwise he had underestimated her. She was more concerned with a throbbing withen him...she could see it, infection was deep and it was speading from his shoulder.

His entire force withen the chamber drew the weapons in a steady echo of metal aaginst metal, the sound made Aniek shiver slightly in delight. She watched as Malebogia himself readied himself.

"Do you really think you can stop us?", his eyes watched her intently for any sign of hosility, "We have the girl, and the crusader's will still be licking their own wounds from the recent battle for some time. You cannot stop the infernal lord's prohpechy from becoming a reality now woman".

At the last bit of the man rant, her eyes narrowed dangerously, and focused on Malebogia. It was her, herself who propheized the coming of this child, not his infernal lord. She, prietess divine of the Isle of Avalon, carer of the scale of power. A deep unearthly voice boomed from the group of guards suddenly, her eyes flashed to from whom it came only to find her beloved Jasper.

Aniek's quick mind assessted to situation instantly, and felt her heart sink as she recongized the Christain King Leon in Jasper's clasps. Her breif meeting with him flashing through her mind.

I told your highness beware a man of fangs and claws abover all else!!!

Aniek's stomach curned as she watched Jaspers face, his eyes looking up at Malebogia like that. She watched him feeling sickened by the display, as Leon quickly free'd himself and readied between her, Sirekka and the Serpentines her eyes softened slightly, as an order was given.

She knew how this would end, hence the warning to the fine King, tear rolled through her dark eyelashes and over her cheek, dripping it seemed in slow motion as it clung to her chin and fell through the air. The single dropped splashed over the stone beneth her, and it began.

::Leon::

The cold metal of his claws around my neck sent shivers down my spine. I could feel the dark energies emanating from them. I knew that if he wanted to, the man named Jaspar could snap my neck in two with the ease of breaking a twig.

I knew that I shouldn't move but his words had angered me. 'Pampared, me!' I seethed. 'I have never been pampered in my entire life. Everything I have gotten was earned which is more than this demon can say.' I took a shallow breath and calmed myself. I knew that trying to feign innocence would be pointless which left only two other options, to fight or to escape. But if I saved myself I would leave behind Sirekka and the Sorceress, which I would not do.

I made my choice. Jaspar's attention was on his master waiting for orders, it was now or never. I twisted my body and brought my foot to the side of his head. I knew that it wouldn't hold enough power to knock him out but it would stun him enough to allow me time to break free of his grasp. I felt my foot connect and his grasp slackened a fraction. As soon as his grasp slackened I placed my other foot on his abdomen and pushed. I felt his claws dig into my flesh as my throat slid from his grasp.

I was free from his grasp, but I was falling. I twisted my body again and back-flipped landing on my feet. As soon as my feet hit the floor I dashed forward scooping up my two stolen swords. I ran towards Sirekka and the Sorceress placing myself between them and the Serpentines. "I swear apon my good name, that only death will keep me from protecting these two!" I held my blades before me aloft and ready for an attack.

Jasper Gabrael

He hadn't given the Sorceress or the Chosen Woman a second thought after the Serpentines had drawn their weapons. His eyes had picked out one who did not draw his weapon with the fluid motion that came from the hours of practice he and the Great Lord had enforced upon their warriors. His clawed hand raised at the one amongst them, glaws extending as his fangs grew, the beast Gabrael speaking through him and dropping his voice to a smooth, malevolent, baritone.

"He is no loyal follower," his feet drug forward, giving him the illusion of a glide. "My Lord, he lacks the training your Guard must all undergo to qualify for such an honor. Look at how he holds his weapon!" His nose tested the air and he let out a roar, bounding onto the man and knocking his sword aside. "INTRUDER! TRAITOR! HOLY WORSHIPPER! KING! KILL! MUST KILL! DESTROY THE ENEMY! DESECRATE HIS REMAINS!" A hand held the man's neck, Gabrael roared in his head as much as his own thoughts. He smelled different than most Crusaders...he smelled of a pampered yet stressfull life. A life associated with royalty.

The idea that he had the Crusaders' King in his hands made his body lurch and shiver in a disgusting display of beastial pleasure. Yet it was not confirmed, nor was there an order to kill, so he held the man still, looking to the Great Lord. "He is not one of us..." He growled. "He smells of one who is waited on and served...yet must undergo challenging decisions. He smells royal..." It seemed he had finally reigned in some of the blood lust he had been displaying only a moment before. Though his eyes looked like an Infant's, only instead of 'Mama?' they asked 'Kill?'

Commanding voice overtakes the chamber again as he issues his next orders, "Have the girl prepared for the ceremony take her away". Eyes leave the girl as an uneasy feeling creeps into his mind, his black eyes settle on the murdering sorceress, "Thought we had locked you up and threw away the key?". All of the honor guards now slowly turn, the in unison sound of their swords beign unsheathed echos through the throne room. His own hand slowly beginning to slide down to the snake headed handle of his own sword, he would not tolerate any more interference from this woman. "Do you really think you can stop us?". "We have the girl, and the crusader's will still be licking their own wounds from the recent battle for some time. You cannot stop the infernal lord's prohpechy from becoming a reality now woman".

All of the guards aroudn the Serpentine lord, now stand at the ready the emotionless helemts hiding their faces staring a hole right through the sorceress. Hand now grips the snake headed sword that he bore, the black eyeys still watching for any sign of hostile intention from the sorceress.

*/\ Aniek /\*

Aniek came upon a group of highly decorated soldiers marching through the corridor, she recongized one as a guard at her 'punishment'. He was staring at her looking quiet spooked, he knew what condition they had left the women in, and now there she stood before him looking as magnificent as ever. He gaunlet shook slightly as they spread out before her, intending to block her.

"Stop right ther witch!" one called sternly.

She smirked slyly and never broke stride, an engery blast of air sent them flying out from her in all directions, making a path. She glanced at the one that recongized her and smiled wickedly as she passed...she headed down a large hallway, not to the main room but to the ceremonial chamber.

She arrived at the same time as Malebogia and his honour guard, across the chamber she smiled softly and glanced at his shoulder. Her white clothing standing out amongst the dark stone walls and black armour of the Serpentines, like a ray of light. Aniek's sharp golden eyes darted to Jasper who was attending the poor Sirekka, Aniek's eye locked with Jaspers mommentairly trying to convince him she ment no harm in being here.

Aniek slowly took up a place near where she expected Jasper would be stationed, and put her hands calmly behind her back. The guards watched her uneasily. She had her guard up while waiting, but her eyes feel on the poor girl from the woods. Terror painted against her kind face, Aniek pittied her situation, but envied the child that would be the result. Her mind difted absently.

How do they intend to keep her healthy enough to bear a child? She'll quit eating and starve herself after what they're about to do to her...if the child is brought full term, he will be a sickly little thing. Poor child, brought up by ruthless men, no one to care for his sensitivities.

Only a slight knod comes from him as Jasper enters the room, turning back to the girl infront of them both. "What do you think my loyal follower? What do your instincts say about this one? Do you think she could possibly be the one we've been searching for all these years?". A slight moving of the armor on the guards around him echos through the throne room, his black eyes keeping an eye on the girl, the time for the ceremony was rapidly approaching and all his instincts told him that this was the exact girl they where looking for.

The pain in his shoulder flares up again, his right arm moving slightly off the arm rest of the throne. Checks the movement though not trying as best he could now not to show how much the injury was bothering him now. A few of the guards, heads having moved slightly at the sign of pain coming from him, stands up from the throne as he issues his orders to his followers now. "Have the girl prepared and brought to the sanctuary for the ritual, I want all our high ranking breathren present, have all our forces at their posts; for I will have no interruption during this glorious event. Have all our wandering patrols outside the fortress check in, now go". A simple wave of his right hand with two fingers exstended signals for the orders to be carried out, and he leaves the honor guards following behind him.

As he walks through the heavy doors that led into the throne room and into the corridors he finally lets down his guard, the expression on his face changing drastically. His right arm now moving to his wounded left shoulder, the pain just would not let him think clearly for the moment. But he would have to see past it when it was time for the ceremony, the infernal lord would not tolerate any sign of weakness at the hour of their fufillment of the prophecy. Along the tops of the Serpentine's fortress, more archers take up perches following their lordships command. Outside the fortress the numerous roaming patrols of their breathren begin to maker their way closer to the stronghold.

Jasper Gabrael

The entire walk toward the Lord's Main Chamber was arduous for Jasper, the beast Gabrael within his soul tearing at his inner being. It demanded the blood of another Serpentine in the group, but Jasper saw no reason to kill this other cult member. Jasper frowned in focus, eyes cringing visibly as he fought the beast's blood rage back into the depths of his soul. The creature finally abated when they had entered the main hall.

His Dark Majesty was perched upon his throne before the refugees they had captured at the river city. He appeared to be examining the last one and Jasper felt he need not concern himself with her presence, he knelt just in his Lord's view, knuckles on the stone floor and head angled properly.

"My Lord," he intoned. "I am here at your request. How may I serve?" His fangs shined with his words and the beast Gabrael sat back on its haunches within his soul, mirroring his stance but in a more mocking manner. It had no master, merely a partner in body and slaughter. His body put off an ethereal, dark, glow. He was angered inwardly by these refugees causing him to be separated from Aniek in her time of need. Jasper wanted to be sure she was well, but he had his loyalty. He awaited his orders.

Nyda

Nyda noticed something was going on in the castle. The guards were flocking to the main room and no one stood in her way. If she wanted out, this would be the time. No one would stop her. But Nyda's curiosity got the better of her.

She walked to the great room and slipped in the open door. Inside were hordes of guards, lining the walls, standing in formation. In the center of the room were the woman stolen from the River City. One was pulled forward and was talking to the Serpentine Lord. It was a tense conversation, whatever it was.

Nyda leaned against the back wall, directly in front of the Lord's thrown and made eye contact with him. She smiled lightly and lifted her hands in an innocent gesture. He knew now that she obviously wasn't tortured like he planned, but she also stressed that she wasn't a threat. It made her laugh inside. By being here, Nyda was telling the Lord that she wasn't his servant or his enemy, like everyone else in this castle...at least as long as he let her be.

Nyda crossed her arms and put her foot on the wall absentmindedly. She wanted to see how this turned out, knowing that Aneik and Jasper weren't here yet. The guard standing next to her shifted away, he wasn't sure if he should take her into custody or just ignore it. He glanced at the Lord then just moved away. Nyda smiled again.

Eyes close a single tear he is unable to stop from coming down his face at the mention of Faith being punished soley for the fact of loving him. Black eyes open once more and focus upon his prize infront of him, "I guess...... I guess there is no reason to keep something a secret now, it was me whom she was seeing she loved me and I loved her as I said I was a loyal priest to the church. But when they convicted her only on conjectures and for simply being with a member of the church that was when I finally saw the error of their ways". The pain in his shoulder grows slightly more irritable, he would have to end this audience soon, a silent prayer comes from him that Jasper was on his way.

"It was when they tied her to the stake and burned her to death that I finally saw the truth that the infernal lord himself was trying to, but wouldn't accept at first". Unclasps his hands from infront of him, and places them on the arm rests of the throne, "She was innocent, but no your leaders called her a heretic and an adultress purely just for even being with a member of the church". "It was after having to watch her burn to death that I left the church's tyranny and vowed to end it and bring forth the infernal lord's truth to the world, which is now becoming more of a reality than ever."

The replacement honor guards stand silent and at attention in all the corners of the throne room, along with the guard behind sireeka keeping their hands on their swords. "The war with the crusaders will end with them finally bowing down before the Serpentine and our infernal majesty".

~~*Sirekka

Her face meleted from anger to suspision and a strong dislike. She eyed the man viciously as he asked about the excution, she had been very very young then. She knew no details of the event, though thier were rumours.

"I was too young to have carried ther order myself and knew the exact circumstances. But the records say she was burned alive, trialed with evidence against her for being invoved with Satanic sorcery. Though like many I've heard rumours, some say she was committing acts of adultry amoung the clergy," she watched his eyes carefully as she spoke. Obviously he had been invovled in the events due to he's great interest. "It's said one of the bishops caught wind of the tarnishing of his flock, and took it out on her alone. That there was no evidence..."

Sirekka shifted her weight back uncomfortably, she wasn't sure what it was but she wished to be far from this man. She eyes darted towards the great door down the chamber, clanging of armour and boots was heard drawing near.

This must be "his finest", all of them will suffer the withdraw of the great father's love. They'll all be damned to the one they serve, let them welcome the flames inplace of open arms...

Arches an eyebrow of her claiming to be of no real importance, "Oh but you are see we've been following signs right to you girl, but before I officially declare the search to be over and have you prepared for the glorious event one of my finest will give his opinon on the matter; and sorry to crush your hope, but don't expect the crusader's to find you they where dealt a crippling blow at the river city". Another lowering of the shoulders comes from him as he tries to ease the pain in his wound as best he can without giving too much away. "But before he gets here I have to ask girl, what do the church's records ever say of the trial and exectuon of a heretic named Faith?".

The dark tone leaving his voice slightly, and filled with deep interest. Gently reaches up and removes the hood off his head, his black eyes revealed looking deep into her own eyes from the throne upon which he sat.

Sirekka's stomach twisted withen her, causing her great discomfort. She stood strong waiting for the nausea to pass and the satanic lord before her to finish.

"How can you be cerain that I am she whom you seek? I'm a messenger of the churches, I am of no importance," her face looked scornfuly at the man before her. She took note of the slight movement of discomfort, and focused mommentarily on his shoulder.

Already, punishment of the father stones your body before your time. Let you go to the deciever, let you get your wish, let you burn in the depths of hell, you and the witch that has cursed me.

A slight chuckle comes from him as he rose off the throne, his black steel encased hands clasped together; "My dear you are more than a prisoner, did you ever stop and think why I didn't just have you slaughtered like everyone else in the river city?". Stands now inches from her,the torches now showing light upon his emotionless face and dark eyes. "You are one of the most important things to us girl, you are the one we have been searching for". Turns his robed back to her and sits back down upon the throne, the sound of the numerous armored and armed serpentines moving through the corridors echo into the throne room.

The dark tone echoing through the chamber as well as he speaks to the girl again, revealing to her now why she had been spared. "You girl are the prophesized mother to the child who carry us through the next age. The child you bear will bring about the infernal lord's vision." The tone in his voice growing more dark and serious, "A world without the tyranical teaching of god, his churches, and the tyrants who serve under his name. Have you seen the punishment's they've commited on others? I have for years I was a royal priest in the holy lord's service, and I bore witness to the evil's they commit".

A release of breath comes from him causing his shoulders to lower slightly, and a sharp pain to shoot through his body from his aching wound. "And it was after the one crime they committed that was the most horrible thing that I saw, I knew that it wasn't god who was showing me the real truth of the church's ways. It was the infernal lord himself Satan, and since then I've committed my life and so have the other serpentines who follow the cause". The numerous memories and sounds from them filling his mind at the mention of the past, "Since then the world has been shown that their is a way to bring the church down, if it could be done by peaceful methods I would gladly go down that path. But violence is the only way to stop them and the child you bring us will make sure that our cause continues".

The guards now standing outside Jasper's door recovering their wits, after seeing their elder killed. "His lordship requests your presence in the throne room, the questioning of the girl in our interest has begun". More of the cult's members filling the corridors now as they all begin their daily tasks.

Shame and anger consumed Sirekka's features as she was brought forwad before the Evil Serpentine Lord. Between the physians inspection of her purity and the maze(she'd not be able to keep straight which corridors to take if she were somehow to get free). Great doors closed behind then, the sound ringing in Sirekka's ear, the sound of golden gates slamming, banishing her.

She was forced forward toward a great throne which a black clad being sat. She could only assume this was Malebogia...

"Tell me girl", the tone made her knees tremble, "Do you know who we are? Do you know why you where brought to this place".

Sirkka was determined to keep her tongue but the guard holding her proded her hard, and she flinched in pain.

"You must be the dark warlord Malebogia...I was brought here like the rest, your army overtook my home the River City, hence I am a prisoner," anger pulsed in her eyes as she looked upone the man before her now.

Aniek bit her bottom lip slightly, sitting up as much as possible with her eyes closed, she held her breath to keep from flinching. His hands were much more gentle then she had expected, slow and sure. Her body relaxed as she let out a slow steady breath, her eyes eyes snapped open a momment later there was a harsh pounding at the door.

Jasper hadn't flinched at the loud sudden noise from the passage behind them, just stood at the ready. She turned her head to the side looking back at him, he washed his hands calmly of the sauve, the metalic susbstance in the ointment being suspended in the water and making it sparkle strangely even in the dim light. She closed her eyes softly as his hand brushed her cheek lightly, her heart pounded and she was sure had he been any closer he could have heard it too.

Aniek listened as he spoke of his lord, then faced forward again as they turned to her.

"I don't want to know what your planning or when you'll act on it, I only want you to know that no feeling you played upon me before won't work again".

The air around them deepened and tilted back and forth slowly, Aniek's brow twitched at the sensation wondering what it was.

"...I..love you".

The air's tension rippled, Aniek's breathing became very slow and steady at the simple words, after years of practicing hexes, and curses never felt anything this paralyzing. She broke free and forced her body to turn, the door of the holding room slammed. She sat staring at the dark wood for a few momments, she her eyes darted around the cell for a momment before a genuine from the soul smile found it's way to her face, and a happy delighted giggle escaped her.

She stood slowly the smile not fading for a momment. She removed her clothing, now being alone and cleaned the sauve carefully from her skin, it left a multitutde of white scars criss-crossing her back. The chill of the dungeons making goosbumps spread over her skin in a wave, and she shudders slightly.

The water dipped down her body carrying the fecks of silver and washing over the cell floor making it appear her to be walking amoung the stars. Stepping from the puddle of water, fresh clean white robes smelling of jasmine appeared over her flesh, her hair bound itself and fastened with gold clasps. The dress bound around her neck and covered her front the wrapped around behind her, presenting the scars for everyone to see, standing out bright against her dark complexion.

She pushed the dungeon door suspiciously, it slowly opened without any locks, her bright smile was still upon her lips as she bound up the stairs. White light-weight fabric billowed behind her as she walked confidently through the corridors taking a short detour to see outside, and getting a breath of fresh air.

Jasper Gabrael

He eyed Aniek's body suspiciously as he poured the salve onto his palms, grinding the substance between them as he spread it across his hands, frowning slightly. Jasper knelt quietly, hesitating momentarily as his hands grew close in proximity to Aniek's body. He closed his eyes, pressing his hands against the wounds gingerly. Jasper rubbed down the wounds slowly, his hands spreading the ointment over every inch of Aniek's injuries. He sighed contentedly, lost in the feel of her skin and the metallic salve on his hands.

His concentration and mood were shattered by the sounds of people smashing on the door with their fist. Jasper stood abruptly, claws extending slightly as he peered out into the hall to find the source of the noise. He washed his hands and caressed Aniek's cheek gently.

"They're calling for me," he said quietly. "I must return to the duties of my Lord. I don't want to know what your planning or when you'll act on it, I only want you to know that no feeling you played upon me before won't work again." His eyes shifted color, Gabrael gnashing against his insides as he forced himself to walk into the hallway after choking out three words. "...I..love you.." The dungeon door slammed shut behind him as he walked away.

He opened the door that everyone was pounding on, growing in malcontent at the disturbance. "This had better be good commander," he frowned, eyes darting towards one of the Serpentines behind the commander. He was silent inside, arm extending and gouging the life from a four-year member of the cult. "You had best inspect your surbordinates' uniforms better. Violations are punishable by death, now what in the name of his Infernal Majesty did you want?"

::Leon::

I pulled the helmet down covering my face with shadows as another group of soldiers passed me. I continued down the hall making my way to where I thought the prisoners were being held.

I was taking a huge risk walking through the Serpentine palace all alone with help a few days away if I was lucky. My general had yelled for hours trying to dissuade me from my rash course of action. But in the end I had won out and he was forced to acept my orders, though he was still unhappy about it. I had then ridden with all haste to reach the Serpentine stronghold.

When I reached the palace I snuck in and found an armory and proceded to dress myself. When I had finished I looked just like any other Serpentine soldier. I grabbed a couple of swords belted them on and left the room in search of the prisoners.

What I hadn't counted on was becoming lost. The stronghold was huge and its maze-like corridors became a problem which I was unable to solve without getting rid of my disguise. No matter where I went everything looked the same. One thing that was different was the whispering of the soldiers as they passed, they whispered about a mord-sith on a rampage through the palace and how it might be wise to play dead for awhile.

'Mord-Sith,' I thought to myself. 'Where have I heard that name before?' But before I could remember I heard a shout from behind me. I turned to see a group of soldiers standing behind me with their comander standing before them, motioning for me to join them. When I reached him I saluted and waited for him to speak.

"You are to accompany us on our orders soldier," the commander in a tone that brokered no questions. With that said he swept past me with the group of soldiers in toe. I followed at the back hoping that they were heading to the same place I was. I followed the soldiers as they made their way through the corridors until the reached their destination. The commander signaled us to hold and approched a door and pounded his gauntleted fist against the door.

"My Lord Jasper I have been sent to bring you before the Dark Lord," the commander shouted.
