Posted - 05/08/2008 : 12:00:36 AM So here is the deal ladies and gents. This game will test your knowledge of DC and Marvel Hero and Villians. It is a fairly simple game with simple rules.
The game is played as followed:
-Someone will call out a DC or Marvel Character and next person to follow has to name another DC or Marvel Character they think can stand up against them in a fight to the death. Now you can't just call out names; you have to explain why they would last in a fight to the death. After you are done explaining you get to name any Marvel or DC character for the next person to choose to fight against him or her or it.
-There are three rules to all this:
1: You can only use a character once; after they have been called out they can not be used again.
2: It must be DC against Marvel; it can not be Marvel against Marvel or DC against DC. That would be too easy.
3: Keep it nice and friendly; this is to see how much we know about Marvel and DC but also learn from it as well.
DC Character: Martian ManHunter
Reason I choose him: He can shapeshift, not to mention can move through any object, and he has the ability to destroy your mind. |

Marvel: Nightcrawler
A quick-thinker and extremely nimble. One of the most agile heroes ever to be seen, not to mention he can teleport whenever he feels like. All he has to do is annoy blue beetle so much that he goes into his savage fury and voila, grab and BAMF! Transport him somewhere and let his rage be his own undoing.
Marvel: Dr Strange
The master of magics, martial artists can hit you in pressure points you never knew existed. Stephen Strange will punch you through realities and dimensions you never knew existed! Going beyond space and time and other realms with his mystic arts, he is said to be one of the most powerful heroes around.

Posted - 09/10/2008 : 12:26:44 PM The Blue Beetle: Super Strength, Flight, and the ability to create Lightning. (Dan Garrett II because I had invulnerability and yeah thats cheap.)
DC: Timber Wolf: He is super-strong, and is able to make giant leaps. He also possesses super-agility, able to perform amazing acrobatic feats. He is also able to run at super-speed. He is often prone to outbursts of savage fury. |

Posted - 09/10/2008 : 02:30:14 AM Pretty sure they already did this one, but- Marvel: Wolverine. He'd give Lobo a hard time. I mean the runt took on the hulk for christ's sake.
Marvel: Captain... Mother Effing... America
I don't care what argument anyone can come up with, that man's power is hardcoreness, and he will trump anybody, but someone give me a really good legit answer anyway. |

Posted - 05/16/2008 : 11:11:47 AM Cloak (as in Cloak and Dagger).
As Starfire's powers are similar to that of Superman's in the fact that she needs solar energy to use them (only Superman hax0rs and still seems to be able to do everything when he's not near a Sun) but anyways, Cloak has the power of darkness, so if he was to use his power to rob away light and trap Starfire within his cloak, she'd be completely and utterly helpless.
Marvel: Thor
Who would dare take on the mighty God of Thunder from the realm of Asgard? XD (Sorry Zeim... I may have broke your game again.) |

Posted - 05/08/2008 : 01:27:04 AM DC: Brainiac
Yeah well she might turn him into a block of cheese but he is super smart and the massive intellect allows for superhuman calculation abilities, enhanced memory, and advanced understanding of mechanical engineering, bio-engineering, physics and other theoretical and applied sciences. Brainiac's advanced mental powers have shown him capable of possessing others, transferring his consciousness creating and manipulating computer systems, and exerting some control over time and space. Brainiac has also created devices such as a force field belt, a shrinking ray capable of reducing cities. The Byrne reimagining of the character possessed telepathy and telekinesis which were further augmented by an electrode head-piece. Brainiac's multiple host bodies have shown an array of abilities such as superhuman strength, durability, and energy projection.
DC: StarFire

Posted - 05/08/2008 : 12:55:51 AM DC: Batman
He is the Dark Knight, therefore Night Time is an even fighting ground for him, he is also a master detective and has fought with many insane and broken minded people before. Moon Knight would just be another to add to his list.
Marvel: Scarlet Witch
She has the powers of probability, if she wanted, she could turn the world into a block of cheese |

Posted - 05/08/2008 : 12:44:40 AM Marvel: QuickSilver
The son of Magneto and a fellow man of speed. Compared to these two it would be a fight like that of Rival and Flash when they fought. In which one of them will reach light speed and vanish into the Speed Force. It would be an equal match and a matter of luck who gets worn down first. But it would be a fun fight to see.

Posted - 05/08/2008 : 12:40:26 AM DC Char: Superman
The guy may be smaller compared to alot of his opponents but his strength seems to pop up out of nowhere. Given all his head armor and body armor is bashed off him...superman could knock him off into the next century. Plus the man can fly...it's always been said an enemy of the sky compared to one of the ground always has the advantage over things.
DC Char: The flash ^_^

Marvel: Juggernaut (Dun-dun-dun!!!!)

Posted - 05/08/2008 : 12:03:36 AM Too easy.
Marvel Character: The Human Torch.
One of the Martian Manhunter's greatest weakness is fire (or his fear of it). If Johnny Storm was to fly around near him in his blaze of glory, I think he'd be too much for him to handle, espicially since Johnny has and can go Super Nova.
DC Character: Green Latern (Kyle Rayner). |
