It's AnimeMetro.com's 5th anniversary as of this August. I'm going to revamp the site as soon as I can, but, in the meantime we've got something else for you. AnimeMetro.com has always been about the fans. So, it's about time we have some fan imput on the look of the site. I want to see what all of you are capable of so, here's your chance to show off and make new banners for the site. We're leaving the look and slogans up to you. You've seen the ones we've had up top for a whiie now so take a cue from them. Banenrs MUST be in jpg, gif or png format and MUST be 590 x 150 pixels. Of course, you have to maintain a PG-13 rating here so nothing bad. ;p If I think the banners are good enough, you might find yours on the rotation up top. So, if you like, put your screenname (small print) on it in the lower right corner of the banner in the font Verdana. If yours doesn't wind up there, don't feel bad. Keep trying. ^_^ This is all for fun and to see what everyone can do. Go ahead and post the banners in here. Oh..and no public criticism of other people's banners please. HAVE FUN! I actually envy it because I am not capable of such things. Anyways, the reason for me posting here was for a request. I attend another RP site(Roleplayerguild.com) and would love to put one of these banners in my signature with permission of the person who owns the rights for it. Honestly I don't rightfully like the text in a lot of them because they seem too blah, they don't really stand out in the banner. The easter one is really cute but the color of the text blends in with the entire banner. Its hard to even tell there is text there with first glance. Vicky: Love the second one completely but the text under "AnimeMetro" stops too close to the edge; bring it back about a back space and if I am right you are using an overlay on the text which is causing the end text to blend into the background. It is suppose to represent the fact that AnimeMetro started out as a small flame and grew into a wild fire.
