Yaiba TV 8 (Kyuuketsuki Batguy ep)

We showed this years ago, but thought it was time to bring it back. Yaiba is a pint-sized sword-wielding hero who battles a rather odd group of villains with the help of his rather odd group of friends. In this episode (#8), the very amusing character Batguy is introduced. He’s a sunglasses wearing, Japlish-talking, girl-chasing vampire. He converses in the same mishmash combination of japanese & english that Bird Mint from KO Seiki Beast speaks. For years we weren’t sure exactly what he was nicknaming Yaiba because of his heavy accent. When I showed it to Zack he figured out immediately that the term was "Thunder Boy", referring to the kanji on the jewel the fits into his sword to give him a massive power-up. This also fits in metaphorically with the eyecatch scene of Yaiba drumming. After re-watching this, we’re on another Yaiba kick again & hope to find the rest of this (63 episode?) TV series.
