SAKURA TAISEN (SAKURA WARS) OAV series 2 vol. 1

The popular Sega role playing videogame turned anime has just spawned a 2nd series of 6 OAVs. At a party, Sakura shows off her kendo skills by making teacups out of bamboo poles thrown into the air. Not one to be upstaged, Maria attempts a beyond damn near improbable feat of marksmanship that deserves a place in a Wong Jing film (fitting since Akahori "Lamune & 40" Satoru worked on this anime & they have similar senses of humor).
This time around, a rival of Maria’s has just arrived in town & is greeted by 3 guys acting like refugees from a Japanese production of West Side Story (sadly, Chairman Kaga is not among them). They flee after a display of his marksmanship…not to mention a robot armed to the teeth that pops out of a crate near him. While Sakura & Maria try to fight off the man & his mecha, Sumire is ruining her reputation as a serious actress with a rather bravura improv performance to keep some theatergoers from being killed by a bomb the new adversary left as a present. Shown untranslated for the Japanese fluent.
