At most raves, lots of drugs are present. The animation studio for this new Fall 2001 TV series was obviously no different. RAVE wins this year’s Eden’s Bowy Unnecessary Mascots Award. Only this time the design of them was worse. The proof of why this anime will be just a pile of rust 4 episodes from now is in the original theme song which was changed before release: "Started out with a cute chick with tonfa machine guns… but I got high. I could have made a decent anime series… but I got high. Ooh ooh. But I had to throw in dumb mascots and I know why… because I got high (repeat x2). Fished the designs out of FF Unlimited’s wastebasket while I was high. Stole plot elements from several other shows, cuz I was still high. Now the audience is creeped out & distracted & I know why… because I got high (repeat x2)."
