Persia, Perusha, what is this girl’s name? Not even the background artists for the series were able to agree. This was one of 4 majoko series by Studio Pierrot way back in ancient times. Persia experiences culture shock when she has to leave her home & her animal friends in Africa to move to Japan where her parents are running a store. During the flight, she is whisked off to the Lovely Dream where she is given a magical hairband which turns into a Magic Baton which turns her into whatever she wants. She has to collect love energy to return Spring & thaw out the frozen dreams. If she fails to do this or is caught while using her magic her loved ones will become female (um, yeah, whatever). Shigeru Chiba (Kuwabara of Yu Yu Hakushou) provides the voice of one of 3 kappa sent to watch over her.
