Tenchi Muyo movie 2: Manatsu No Eve

What happens when the darkness falls in love with the light? Why, yet another installment in the never-ending Tenchi saga, of course. The already crowded casa del Masaaki gets yet another female guest when Tenchi’s daughter, Mayuka, is sent back from the future by Yuzuha, a creature from the realm of darkness, to wreak havoc. The plot also involves a Juraian holiday called Startika which is similar to our X-mas. Will Washu ever find out the identity of Mayuka’s biological mother? Does every problem stem from something that happened with Yosho back on Jurai? Will Pioneer ever give up their prized cash cow? It actually is a very entertaining film, let’s just hope they don’t make a Tenchi Wing TV series next.
