A giant bell-shaped object arrived from space 1 year ago destroying anything which opposed it. It has remained dormant lately, that is until the Kitanohashi High School magic club interferes with it. Takakura sempai runs the club with Aburatsubo (a bishounen who’s popular with the girls though he flirts with Takakura). Sae Sawanoguchi is your typical ditzy girl who turns out to be the most powerful magician when she puts all her effort into it (see Sailor Moon/Wedding Peach). Nanaka is her best friend who keeps trying to convince Sae to quit the club with her. Akane uses magic for the wrong reasons…on those rare instances that she drops by the magic club before running off on dates. The magic club also has a strong rivalry with the manga club run by Takakura’s nemesis, the obnoxious & busty Miyama Mizuha.
