The first (of 2) psychotically hilarious OAVs spunoff from last year’s brilliant parody anime Excel Saga. PPP was a fictional TV show from the Excel universe (kind of like Gekiganger for Nadesico). If you think it starts off like a Sailor Moon clone, you’re in for a surprise. Parodies everything (I even caught a Fruits Basket reference) & takes no prisoners—just hangs them out to dry and your little Sony dog too. The voice actresses in this series should get the Kodocha Seiyuu Breathlessness Award for this year. This series also has the most well planned super-powers for a group of heroines…more useful than Aquaman’s ability to talk to fish.
Parental Note: this series is aimed at older audiences. There is much sexual-related humor, some nudity, and some sapphic innuendo. The 2nd episode, while amusing, seriously pushes the boundaries of good taste.
